Starting in the nearby nation of Malawi, this Zambia Safari in South Luangwa National Park offers You are picked this morning from your pre-tour lodging in Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi.
We leave Lilongwe at almost nine o'clock and head west to the Zambia border. A short drive from finishing border procedures leads us to the vibrant town of Chipata, the seat of Eastern Province Zambia. From hospitable Chipata, we head northwest toward the elephant-rich Mfuwe section of Luangwa Valley. We pause for a picnic lunch along the road, then by mid-afternoon get to our Zambia safari lodge in South Luangwa National Park.
You have free time in the afternoon to relax in at our cozy safari lodge and take in the wild surroundings. Inside the South Luangwa National Park, near the banks of the Luangwa River, sits the resort. An honest wildlife tour in the untainted African wilderness would find perfect location here. Spend a snooze in your own chalet or swim in one of the two swimming pools and lounge on the deck with view of the bush. This evening we eat a bistro-style a la carte dinner in the large dining room or courtyard and gardens.

Driving southeast to the border, we leave Luangwa Valley and cross back over into adjacent Malawi. We have a picnic lunch on route, then return to Lilongwe in the middle of day. Lilongwe provides a free drop-off service, therefore ending our magnificent South Luangwa National Park Zambia Safari.

Six en-suite cabins placed in three separate structures make up the safari lodge's accommodation.
