Itinerary
Day 1 :
(Day one and two) The Chobe River – Big Game Country
Today, we will meet you at Kasane International Airport and take you to Chobe Elephant Camp for a two-night all-inclusive stay.
Perched on a wooded hill, the classic safari camp provides magnificent river views from practically every angle. Game drives in the river floodplains combine with boat excursions to provide a total Chobe experience.
During the dry season, which runs from May to October, the river draws a large number of animals, particularly elephants, who swarm the water's edge on sweltering afternoons.
The abundance of wildlife attracts predators, particularly lions and, increasingly, leopards, who may be spotted prowling in the riverine woodland. River cruises provide a closer glimpse of Chobe. Keep an eye out for crocodiles, hippos, enormous monitor lizards, and African Fish Eagles.
Main Destination: Chobe National Park.
Accommodation: Chobe Elephant Camp.
Day 2 :
(Day one and two) The Chobe River – Big Game Country
Same as above.
Day 3 :
(Day three and four) Khwai Concession - Diversity of Wildlife
Today you return to Kasane Airport. After landing at Kasane Airport, you will take a shared charter flight to the Khwai Reserve, which is located right adjacent to the Moremi Game Reserve. You will be greeted and taken to Sango Safari Camp for a two-night all-inclusive stay.
You will take a plane to the Sango Safari Camp via a bush air strip on the edge of the Okavango Delta today. The camp, located amid gigantic trees by the famed Khwai River, faces the Moremi Game Reserve but is on its own private concession. This permits Sango, a traditional canvas safari camp, to provide spot-lit night drives and guided walks within the concession, in addition to drives in the Khwai Reserve and Moremi Game Reserve.
You'll even be able to visit the local town and learn about living near the Okavango Delta. Because of its perennial water and diverse ecosystems, the region provides great year-round wildlife watching and has a reputation for large cats and wild dogs.
Main Destination: Khwai Concession (Okavango Delta).
Accommodation: Sango Safari Camp.
Day 4 :
(Day three and four) Khwai Concession - Diversity of Wildlife
Same as above.
Day 5 :
(Day five & six) A Pearl in the Okavango Delta
Today, you will fly by shared charter to Kadizora Camp in the Okavango Delta. Spend two nights in a standard tent on a completely inclusive basis.
From the Khwai Reserve, a shared charter flight will take you to the northern Okavango Delta. Kadizora Camp awaits you, nestled among the trees and overlooking beautiful floodplains studded with grazing antelope. Your tented hut has a sitting area, an en suite toilet, and an observation terrace.
Kadizora, like other delta camps, provides 4x4 wildlife drives, kayaking, and canoe safaris, but between April and September, visitors may also enjoy a unique experience: a hot air balloon trip above the Okavango Delta. The quantity and diversity of species here are exceptional, and Kadizora concludes this safari on a high note.
