Itinerary
At 9:00 a.m., you will be picked up from the resort town of Victoria Falls and driven north to Kasane, a community on the fringe of Chobe National Park. Time is spent in Northern Chobe, a park with an abundance of wildlife thanks to the Chobe River's year-round water supply. Elephants in large herds are frequently spotted traveling to and from the river. Because of the abundance of herbivores in this area, predators such as lions and leopards can be found.
Chobe National Park is famed for its vast herds of elephants and Cape buffalo that congregate along the Chobe Riverfront during the dry season. Lions, antelopes, and hippos roam the woods and lagoons surrounding Linyanti Marsh. The floodable grasslands of the Savuti Marsh attract a variety of bird species, as well as migrating zebras.
The main destination is Chobe National Park (Botswana).
Accommodation: Tlou Safari Lodge.
Get an early start today with a cup of coffee and go on a morning wildlife drive safari. You can experience thrilling wildlife drives and marvel at Africa's splendor on amazing boat safaris along the majestic Chobe River. The Makgadikgadi Pan, located in the dry savanna of northeastern Botswana, is one of the world's largest salt flats. The pit is all that remains of the formerly massive Lake Makgadikgadi, which originally covered an area greater than Switzerland before drying up tens of thousands of years ago.

After a morning trip across the salt pan, we'll drive four hours to Maun, stopping for lunch. We'll arrive at our accommodation late in the afternoon and have little to do but rest before dinner and sleep in preparation for the Okavango Delta treat the next morning.
Maun is a town located on the Thamalakane River in northern Botswana. It serves as a gateway to the enormous inland Okavango Delta, which transforms into a thriving wildlife habitat during seasonal floods. Safari camps may be found throughout the Moremi Game Reserve, which is home to hippos, lions, and rhinos. In town, the Nhabe Museum shows local art as well as history and culture from the surrounding Ngamiland region.
