You will begin your memorable adventure at OR Tambo International Airport. From there, you will take a picturesque shuttle journey to Hoedspruit. When you arrive in Hoedspruit, our staff will meet you and transport you to the serene Tomo Safari Lodge in the Balule Game Reserve. After you have settled into your luxurious lodgings, meet your professional safari guide for an exciting sunset safari. This trip will take you deep into the heart of the African wilderness, stopping for a picturesque sunset in the bush before continuing until midnight with the spotlights turned off. You will return to the lodge for a delicious meal beneath the stars in the traditional African boma.
You will be going back to the lodge for a lovely meal in the traditional African boma of the resort, all beneath the stars.

For your safari in the Kruger National Park, Shinzelle Safaris will pick you up early in the morning. Your 45-minute ride to Orpen Gate marks the start of your Kruger Park safari. From a higher vantage point than a conventional vehicle, an open safari vehicle will allow you to tour the park and get a complete panoramic perspective of the African wilderness.
With the help of a guide, you will look for every animal species, including the Big Five, and use your knowledge of the natural world to analyze every little detail. To guarantee you see as much as possible and that the scenery is always changing and beautiful, your guide will visit several waterholes, river systems, and other Kruger attractions.
The lodge will prepare your own breakfast, which you may have in a picnic area. Then, you will go on safari for the remainder of the day, stopping for lunch along the way. After your afternoon return to Tomo Lodge, you will have some free time before dinner is served al fresco.

After having tea and coffee with your guide, you will embark on a dawn safari in the Balule Private Game Reserve, home of Tomo Safari Lodge. While searching for the signature animal species that make an African safari unique, knowledgeable guides will share with you their extensive knowledge of the African bush. You will pause during this three- to four-hour trip to have tea and coffee outside in the woods.
After the safari, you will return for breakfast before enjoying some downtime when you may laze by the pool, take in the view from the bar, take a nap, or read a book in the exquisitely furnished lounge.
After late afternoon high tea, you will head out on your sunset safari. After that, you will start your safari in the Balule Private Game Reserve, which continues into the night with spotlights on to look for creatures that you might not have seen during the day. Before returning to the dining deck for supper among the stars, you will have sundowners in the bush.

Your amazing safari journey will come to an end when you travel to Hoedspruit and take a shuttle back to OR Tambo International Airport.
