You will begin your memorable adventure at OR Tambo International Airport. From there, you'll take a picturesque shuttle ride to Hoedspruit. When you arrive in Hoedspruit, our staff will meet you and transport you to the serene Tomo Safari Lodge in the Balule Game Reserve. After you've settled into your luxurious lodgings, meet your professional safari guide for an exciting sunset safari. This trip will take you deep into the heart of the African wilderness, stopping for a picturesque sunset in the bush before continuing until midnight with the spotlights turned off. You'll return to the lodge for a delicious meal beneath the stars in the traditional African boma.

Shinzelle Safaris will pick you up in the morning for a Kruger National Park safari. Your Kruger Park safari begins with a short 45-minute drive to Orpen Gate. You'll explore the park in an open safari vehicle, which provides a better perspective of the African bush from a higher vantage point.
With a guide, you'll hunt for all animal species, including the Big Five, and use specialist expertise to understand the natural environment in great detail. Your guide will visit numerous waterholes and river systems, as well as other Kruger hotspots, to optimize your opportunities to view as much as possible while also ensuring that the landscape on show is ever-changing and attractive.
Breakfast will be personally packed by the resort and enjoyed at a picnic site before continuing on safari for the remainder of the day, with a lunch break in between. You'll return to Tomo Lodge in the afternoon and enjoy some free time before dinner is served on the dining terrace.

You'll meet your guide for tea and coffee before embarking on a morning safari on the Balule Private Game Reserve, where Tomo Safari Lodge is located. Expert guides will share their extensive knowledge of the African bush with you while searching for the iconic wildlife species that make an African safari unique. During this 3-4 hour safari, you will stop for tea and coffee in the woods.
After the safari, you'll return for breakfast before spending time relaxing by the pool, enjoying the view from the bar, taking a nap, or reading a book in the tastefully appointed lounge.
High tea is given in the late afternoon before you embark for your sunset safari. You will then begin your safari in the Balule Private Game Reserve, which continues into the dark with spotlights turned on in search of nocturnal species that you may not have seen before. You will have sundowners in the bush before returning to the dining deck for a supper under the stars.

Following the safari, you will return to the resort for a sumptuous breakfast. After checking out, you will say goodbye to the friendly lodge personnel and the breathtaking African scenery. Your memorable safari experience will come to an end with a transfer to Hoedspruit and a shuttle return to OR Tambo International Airport.
