The journey will commence at 7:40 am with a shuttle from O.R. Tambo International Airport. A beautiful 600km trip north is taken, with a stop for lunch (own expense). You will meet your Wild Planet Safari guide and chef in Phalaborwa at 2:30 pm. The far north of Kruger National Park is reached by driving for two more hours at Punda Maria Gate. For the first two nights, Punda Maria Rest Camp serves as your headquarters. It offers opulent safari tents with views of the bushveld, twin beds, a kitchen, electricity, and a private toilet.
Savoring an African sunset and dining al fresco are two unforgettable experiences. This is the beginning of an amazing adventure into the northern part of Kruger National Park, with the promise of amazing animal encounters. The camp offers a special fusion of luxury and closeness to the natural world, setting the tone for the next safari adventures. The raw grandeur of the African bush beckons as dusk descends, offering days full of treasured memories and up-close encounters with animals.

Accommodation: Punda Maria Rest Camp
In order to maximize animal viewing, in the early morning light, today starts early. Following a brief cup of coffee, the journey goes north through Mopani thickets and open landscapes, frequently spotting herds of elephants and buffalo.
There's breakfast at the Pafuri picnic area. You will next go to Crooks Corner, which is the meeting place of the Luvuvhu and Limpopo rivers, which represent the borders of Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. This magnificent intersection surrounded by dense woodlands will wow you.
After you get back to camp, you could consider stopping at waterholes to see the local fauna. You'll unwind in the camp's bird hide or swimming pool after lunch before going on an afternoon drive where you'll focus on predators that are out and about after nightfall. Your final evening in the magical far north is spent with a customary dinner by the light of a fire. Memories of amazing scenery, a variety of species, and the comforting atmosphere of the African bush beneath the stars will be treasured.
Mojar Northern Kruger National Park
Accommodations: Within Northern Kruger National Park, at the mid-range Punda Maria Rest Camp.
We start the day with an early drive around Punda Maria's Dimbo Hill, a popular location for leopard sightings. You'll say goodbye to Punda Maria after breakfast and travel south to Shingwedzi. You may see herds of buffalo, elephants, bucks, and maybe even the elusive leopards on the 70-kilometer safari trip. Rare antelope species like elands and roans are found in this area.
Nestled near the river, Shingwedzi camp provides breathtaking views. You'll watch nature while relaxing on a seat near the river. The site offers conveniences including a charming store, laundry facilities, and a swimming pool.
You will have lunch at the camp restaurant upon arrival (at your own expense). You'll take a nap or unwind by the pool. Afternoon safari down the river will take you past spotted hyenas' favorite waterholes and riverine woodlands, which are home to shy leopards.
Dinner at the camp brings the day to a close. Shingwedzi provides leisure and a variety of wildlife for the day.

Place to Stay: Shigwedzi Rest Camp
On your last morning drive, you'll follow the Shingwedzi River in search of any possible predator sightings. You'll have breakfast after the journey and then say goodbye as you go into Letaba.
Along the 109 mile route, herds of wildebeest, zebra, and elephants may be seen as the route travels through Mopane grasslands.
The famed Elephant Hall, a museum honoring the majestic 7, the seven greatest tuskers in Kruger history, is located in Letaba, tucked away beside the Letaba River. Laundry, a gift store, a swimming pool, and observation platforms are among the amenities.
After lunch, when you arrive, take some time to peruse Letaba's wares. You'll go on a drive down the Letaba River's leopard trail in the afternoon, which offers opportunities for birdwatching and close encounters with the elusive leopard.
Savor a self-paying meal at the camp restaurant as the sun sets. The evening starts with an exciting nighttime drive, led by a Kruger specialist who shares his knowledge of the secrets of the nighttime world.
The Central Kruger National Park is the main location.
Letaba Rest Camp is a mid-range rest camp situated within the Central Kruger National Park.
Enjoy one more safari drive in the Letaba area as you close off your educational five-day safari, catching special moments before heading back to camp for a hearty breakfast.
After leaving Letaba, we take a leisurely safari drive in the direction of the exit gate, which provides a contemplative trip through the striking scenery.
You'll meet the transfer crew in Phalaborwa at around 10 am, and they'll make sure your return to Johannesburg goes well. Unfolds the picturesque path across the Drakensberg escarpment. It is expected that you will arrive at O.R. Tambo Airport between 5 and 6 p.m.
For domestic flights, please remember not to arrange departures from Johannesburg before 7:00 pm, and for international flights, before 8:00 pm.
