Overview

This 5-day safari to a private game reserve and the well-known Kruger National Park is perfect if adventure and discovering South Africa’s animals are on your vacation plan! During your safari, you will partake in a number of activities, including a bush walk in Motlala Reserve, a full day of game watching in Kruger National Park, a sunset drive in a Big 5 game reserve, and more. Numerous creatures, including lions, elephants, leopards, and zebras, will be visible for you to view and photograph.

Day 1 :

Johannesburg to Masango Camp

The Masango Lodge in the Motlala Game Reserve near Hoedspruit will pick you up from Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport and bring you there by 14h00, when you will check into your chalet. Following some downtime to relax and take advantage of the amenities, you will leave at around 15:00 for an open-air safari vehicle wildlife drive in the afternoon and dusk. Experience some thrilling views, such as the African sunset, before heading back to camp at about 19:00 for a delectable dinner and a restful evening spent by a boma fire beneath the stars.

Day 2 :

Day (two-four) Kruger National Park

For your all-day safari into Kruger National Park, you will rise early.

There are two possible paths your days may go. The first option is leaving early for Kruger National Park, returning early, and stopping for a bush breakfast along route. The alternative entails a later departure and return after breakfast at the resort.

The night before, you will receive information on the precise departure timings of the various alternatives. The guides will select an option based on the activity of the animals at that time. You should return to the camp with enough time to unwind before supper beneath the stars (with a complimentary glass of wine), as your full-day safari will take seven or eight hours.

Masango Camp to Johannesburg

It is time to say goodbye and head back to Johannesburg after breakfast. Around 17:00 or 18:00 you will return to OR Tambo International Airport.
