Overview

Transferring to Madikwe Game Reserve, which is located on the border of Botswana in an area that transitions from the lush Lowveld to the dry, desert Kalahari, is a popular tour destination. Day 1 :

Arrival and Afternoon Game Drive

At around 7:00 am, your driver will pick you up from the address of your choice in Johannesburg or Pretoria and take you to the Madikwe Game Reserve. We go to the game reserve for around four and a half hours, arriving at Tau Game Lodge late in the morning. Enter your opulent accommodation, unwind, and change into new clothes before leaving for the late-afternoon game drive. A trained ranger drives an open safari truck during game drives.

After a thrilling nighttime drive, return to the lodge and have supper in the dining room or outside under the stars.

(Day two-four) Madikwe Game Reserve

Get up early for hot drinks before leaving on a three-hour game drive at dawn. After breakfast, head back to the lodge to unwind on the wooden terrace or in your air-conditioned suite for the remainder of the day. After high tea, get ready to head out for a late-afternoon game drive and be back in time for supper.

Get up early for hot drinks before leaving for your final Madikwe game drive. After a filling breakfast, head back and prepare to depart by mid-morning for your return journey to Johannesburg. In Johannesburg or Pretoria, your driver will drop you off at the address of your choice.
