5-Day Madikwe Luxury Bush House Safari Itinerary
After an early pickup from Johannesburg, guests are taken to the Madikwe Game Reserve. We travel to the game reserve for around four and a half hours, arriving at Madikwe Bush House late in the morning. Enter your opulent accommodation, unwind, and change into new clothes before leaving for the late-afternoon game drive. A trained ranger drives an open safari truck during game drives. Return to the resort after a thrilling nighttime drive, then have supper in the dining room or outside under the stars.

Before leaving for the early morning wildlife trip, rise before the sun and have a hot coffee/tea. As you explore the park in the 4x4 vehicle—which provides amazing picture ops—the ranger will give you fascinating insights into the habits of different animals and birds. After a hearty breakfast at the resort, spend some time in the wildlife hide beside the Bush House waterhole to continue your safari experience. Get ready for more exhilarating thrills on an evening game drive later in the day after enjoying a delightful cup of tea. We will talk about the highlights of the day over a traditional bush dinner. You will start an afternoon game drive on your fourth night in Madikwe Game Reserve, with the possibility of extending into the night if there are a lot of animals out and about. You will enjoy a delectable feast and traditional bush stories while sitting around a campfire at the conclusion of the day.

Before taking the morning safari excursion in an open vehicle, unwind with a drink on the terrace. Although they are two of Madikwe's most elusive inhabitants, you could spot a leopard or a group of wild dogs on your trip. While traveling, stop for coffee and enjoy the sounds of the natural world in the early morning. After spending the morning outside, look for wildlife when you return to the resort for breakfast. Additionally, while the elephants are having a drink, this is the ideal time to approach the hide for a final photo opportunity before departing. You will be driven off at your hotel or airport in Johannesburg after checking out and starting your drive back after breakfast at The Bush House.
