Overview

This private safari package includes a high-touch African safari in the Kruger Park with a specialized Kruger operator. It also includes a personal field guide, private safaris in an open safari vehicle, and window seats with views of the savannah. The Big Five are among the many animal species you may meet. This package also includes a meal option, which allows you to dine in the restaurant or choose for private cooking with a specialized chef.

Day 1 :

Transfer from Johannesburg to Kruger National Park

Your shuttle departs from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg for Hazyview, where your guide will meet you.

(We prefer not to include the Panoramic Route on this Kruger transfer because it is best appreciated as part of a day excursion. It adds at least three hours to your road trip, lowering the amount of time you spend on safari in Kruger Park.

Your safari begins as you enter the park's entrance. Enjoy the Kruger from an open private safari vehicle on way to your rest camp within the Kruger National Park, where you will spend your safari. After checking in, become familiar with your accommodations and the private dining room or restaurant, depending on meal selections.

Dinner is provided buffet-style in a private dining area within the camp or at the camp restaurant. Your own chef will make a delicious assortment of African-inspired cuisine for each meal. You may also order a range of items from the camp restaurant menu.

Day 2 :

(Day two-four) Full `Day on Safari in Kruger

Every day on safari begins with the sun rising over the horizon. Our chef will prepare tea, coffee, pastries, and cereals to enjoy before our morning safari, along with restaurant dinner alternatives. Your guide will give you tea, coffee, cookies, and crackers.

Exiting the gates as they open, your guide is trained to get you up close and personal with nature, and has a lot of knowledge and expertise to offer you the best opportunity of seeing the Big Five.

After our morning safari, you will return to camp in the middle of the morning, where a nutritious and scrumptious English-style buffet breakfast awaits you. It may also be consumed in the camp restaurant, depending on the meal plan.

Gather in the afternoon for high tea, which includes refreshing fruit juice and ice tea, as well as a selection of finger sandwiches (private catering only). Then we continued on our afternoon safari for another 3-4 hours, where we saw hippo, zebra, giraffe, and many other animals
dinner at the camp.

Day 5 :

Last Morning on Safari in the Kruger National Park and Transfer Back to Johannesburg

On your final day of safari, you will rise up early again and have tea, coffee, and pastries (depending on your lunch choice). Then we'll embark on your final private safari, giving you one more chance to spot any creatures you haven't seen before.

With private catering, your chef will make a breakfast pack for you to take with you on safari, making the most of your final morning in the African wilderness. With restaurant meal choices, you will have breakfast at the camp restaurant.

You will then proceed through the Kruger to the next gate to meet your shuttle to Hazyview, which will take you back to Johannesburg. Leave with a variety of unique and fascinating experiences experienced only on an African safari.
