Day 1 :

Fly Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport to Skukuza Airport, Kruger National Park

Travel by air to Skukuza Airport in Kruger National Park from O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. After arriving, you will drive through the reserve for two hours to reach Umkumbe Bush Lodge.

Sabie Sands Private Game Reserve, often regarded as South Africa's best wildlife reserve, is home to Umkumbe Bush Lodge. It is open from the Kruger National Park's western edge. Umkumbe Bush Lodge, which has a waterhole view, is well located in one of Africa's top Big Five game-viewing locations. With its exquisite design, Umkumbe has ten tent-style suites—four ordinary, one deluxe, and five exceptional. Every tented room features its own terrace or verandah, along with all the amenities needed for a cozy getaway. Nestled in the natural surroundings, the elegant and roomy tented rooms are each situated on a separate elevated terrace. The exceptional and opulent apartments offer seclusion and exclusive vistas.

Day 2 :

(Day two-four) Umkumbe Bush Lodge, Sabi Sands Reserve, South Africa

Each morning at sunrise, listen to the sounds of the wildlife before setting out with your fully trained and highly experienced safari guide and tracker. This safari adventure lasts roughly 2.5 hours, during which you will learn about the lifecycles of flora, wildlife (including the Big Five), and neighboring ecosystems. There is a profusion of large and small wildlife, as well as over 300 bird species, to see and enjoy up close. This is an unforgettable safari experience and one of the greatest in Africa.

Return to the camp for breakfast before lounging on the verandahs or by the pool, taking in the sights and fragrances of the African wilderness. Following lunch at 1 p.m., there is time for rest or reading before the late afternoon/early evening game drive. Enjoy a wonderful sunset in the bush before returning to the camp to dine in the boma beneath the stars. This generates a lifelong memory.

Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg for your departure flight.
