Overview

We will transport you from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit on the first day, when we will go on a twilight game drive in Manyeleti. Spend the night at Bongan Lodge. Take a full-day game drive in Kruger Park on the second day, which includes a bush breakfast. Tour of the Panoramic Blyde River Canyon on day three. Enjoy a 4-hour game drive in the morning on day four, followed by a cultural visit of the hamlet OR another full-day game drive. Day 5: Bushwalk in Kruger Park (a wildlife drive is available for those who would prefer not to walk). Go back to Johannesburg.

Day 1 :

Manyeleti Sunset Night Drive and Bongan African Lodge

At 6:00am in the morning, we will come to pick you up in Johannesburg and arrange for a transfer bus from Or Tambo to Hoedspruit.
We'll head to your first overnight stay at Bongan African Lodge, located in an African village close to the Manyeleti Reserve, after lunch (at your own expense).
Our friendly team will greet you and guide you to your comfortable chalet so you can unwind when you arrive. Soon after you've settled into your lodging, you'll embark for your first official safari excursion—the Sunset Drive. Savor the last of the stunning light's rays as they bathe the African bushveld in vibrant reds, yellows, and pinks (hint: the lighting will give your photos a romantic touch!). You can have the rare opportunity of seeing several nocturnal animals on the Sunset Drive that are often concealed during the day. Keep an eye out for eyes that shine in the dark! Around 7:00 p.m., head back to the Bongan African Lodge for a delectable meal. Spend the night in your cozy cottage.

Day 2 :

Kruger Park Game Drive

Set out early enough since its the best time for your safari adventure in Kruger National Park. Beginning at Orpen Gate in Kruger and traveling through the core sections, your guide will show you the diverse fauna and flora of this beautiful wildlife sanctuary. The open-sided game vehicle (with additional elevation and no windows) provides superb views and picture possibilities. Please keep a watch out for our famed Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo). Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. in the Bongan boma.

Day 3 :

Panoramic Tour Blyde River Canyon

Enjoy your day's Panoramic trip. After breakfast, we'll head to the Blyde River Canyon. Visit the breathtaking Three Rondavels. We'll next head to Bourkes Potholes, Gods Window, and Mac Mac Falls (we'll stop for lunch at your expense during the day).
Dinner at Bongan Lodge.

Main destination: Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve (Panorama Route).
Accommodation: Bongan Safari Lodge is a budget lodge less than an hour's drive from Central Kruger National Park.

Day 4 :

Game Drive and Cultural Tour of an African Village

You will go on a 4-hour early game drive around the reserve with your guide. Breakfast at Bongan African Lodge will be provided. Another common choice is a nap in the late morning. Following lunch, we may have a look at the village's cultures (at your expense). The African Sangoma is another option. Or perhaps you might go on another all-day gaming drive. You may stay the night in chalets at Bongan African Lodge, where dinner will be served.

Day 5 :

Kruger Park Bushwalk and Transfer to Johannesburg

Enjoy an early-morning bushwalk in Kruger Park. (or opt for another game drive.) After breakfast, we'll take you to your shuttle service in Hoedspruit. The shuttle service arrives at Johannesburg Or Tambo Airport around 6:30 p.m.

Main destination: Manyeleti Game Reserve (Greater Kruger).
Accommodation: There is no accommodation at the end of the excursion.
