5-Day Kruger National Park Safari at Makuwa Safari Lodge Itinerary
Making your trip as easy as possible is what we look forward to doing when you arrive at Makuwa Safari Lodge. Arriving in Hoedspruit at around 1:45 pm, your transfer shuttle will pick you up at O.R. Tambo International Airport at 7:45 am. We will have warm staff members waiting to welcome you and show you around the resort.
You will check into your accommodation when you get there. Before supper, enjoy a sunset around the campfire or a swim in our lovely pool after you have settled in. Our main gathering space is intended to provide a casual yet elegant eating experience. It includes a terrace with a dining table and a bar area that together provide the ideal ambiance for a rustic farm-to-table dinner.

Join us for an amazing full-day Big Five guided game-viewing adventure in the Kruger National Park—a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The optimum time to capture the predators during their peak activity is to depart early in the morning in an open 4x4 vehicle.
We will provide you with a packed breakfast to eat on the way or when you stop inside the park. The lodge may prepare a picnic meal for you to eat in the park for an extra fee. Throughout the day, there will be several rest areas, and inside the park, you may buy interesting trinkets.
We will return in the late afternoon after seeing the delights of Kruger National Park, allowing you time to change before we serve a delectable supper at the lodge.
Please be aware that park entrance fees for Kruger National Park conservation are due at that time (see local payment details).

Take an exhilarating half-day guided Big Five game-viewing drive in an open 4x4 vehicle within the famed Kruger National Park. You will have the best chance of seeing the predators in their natural environment if you go as soon as the sun comes up.
You may have a delectable packed breakfast from Makuwa Safari Lodge to eat on the way or when you stop inside the park. There will be several breaks throughout the journey so you can stretch your legs and take some priceless pictures of the breathtaking scenery and wildlife.
Following your thrilling game drive, get back to the lodge in time for lunch (not included). Here, you may take it easy by the pool or on your patio while taking in the ethereal sounds of Africa.
Savor a delicious meal at the lodge and talk with other guests about the thrilling sightings of the day. The Kruger National Park conservation fees are due at the park's entry (see to the payment details for the area).

Our staff will leave the lodge between 9:00 and 9:30 in the morning to provide you with your journey back to Hoedspruit. Your Johannesburg shuttle will be there to pick you up as soon as you arrive in Hoedspruit, guaranteeing a comfortable and safe return trip to O.R. Tambo International Airport.
