We depart early from Johannesburg or Pretoria and travel to Mpumalanga Province. Our major target today is the Panorama Route, a picturesque trip over the Drakensberg escarpment. We pass into Pilgrim's Rest, an ancient mining village. We make stops at God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon, and Three Rondavels.
We spend the night outside the Kruger National Park at the Bongan Safari Lodge or somewhere comparable.
Main Destination: Panorama Route (Highlight).
Accommodation: Bongan Safari Lodge, a budget lodge located less than an hour's drive from Central Kruger National Park.
Day 2 :
Kruger National Park Game Drive
After breakfast, we check out of our accommodations and head to Kruger National Park via Orpen Gate. We begin our safari immediately upon entering the park. Satara Rest Camp is located in the Kruger National Park's center region. Our primary safari adventure camping for the following two nights takes place here. Everything is possible since we are in the animals' habitat, and the nights are filled with beautiful sounds from wild creatures. Some animals might be observed close to your tent.
We arrived in Satara at midday. This is the moment when your guide will set up your tent. Your guide has already scheduled a sunset wildlife drive in an open safari vehicle, which will begin at 16:30 and last three hours. After the game drive, you will have a meal provided by your guide before retiring for the night.
