Overview
This safari package takes you into the heart of the African bush, where you will come face to face with Africa’s species. It includes three nights in the wildlife capital of Hoedspruit. You’ll embark on a sunset/night safari in a private game reserve, a full-day safari in Kruger Park, and a panoramic trip that includes a boat excursion in the Blyde River Canyon. All meals and refreshments are provided, as well as admission to all game reserves and a return shuttle from Johannesburg Airport.

5-Day Kruger, Canyon & Boat Tour in Safari Capital Itinerary
You will take a shuttle from OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg to African Rock Lodge on the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate.
African Rock Lodge has comfortable rooms equipped with mosquito nets, en suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making amenities, and air conditioning. The lodge has Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, a bar, and a restaurant.
You will go on a sunset safari in the African bush! An incredible journey on Pridelands, in the Balule Private Nature Reserve, which is part of the Greater Kruger.
As the sun sets over the savannah, your knowledgeable guide leads you on a trek to see the various animals, including the Big Five.
As the sky turns golden, you'll watch the sun set below the horizon, toast with a sundowner in hand, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the woods up close and personal.
In the evening, you'll return to the lodge for a wonderful traditional South African braai served in the boma, beneath the stars, and over a blazing campfire.

A full-day safari allows you to explore the beauty and animals of Kruger National Park. Your journey begins as you enter Orpen Gate and go over the wide savannah in quest of the Big Five and other species.
Your professional guide will lead you through the park's many ecosystems, giving you the opportunity to witness a broad range of animals and birds in their natural setting.
After that, you'll pause for a nice breakfast before continuing on your safari, where you'll have multiple opportunities to observe wildlife and snap photographs.
You'll next have a quiet lunch break in the park, admiring the stunning views. After lunch, you'll continue your safari in search of wildlife, including the Big Five, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species.
You'll return to the lodge for supper in the late afternoon, full of memories from a really wonderful day in the African wilderness.

On the third day, you will leave African Rock Lodge for the spectacular Blyde River Canyon. This natural beauty is one of the world's biggest green canyons and a must-see for anybody visiting the Kruger Canyon region.
The day begins with a boat tour waiting to take you around the Blyde Dam. This leisurely 90-minute trip will take you to the Kadishi Tufa Waterfall and give you a unique perspective of the three rondavels. The dam and its surroundings are home.
You'll continue your day with a magnificent drive to the Three Rondawels viewpoint, then down the canyon to Bourke's Luck Potholes. After you've seen the potholes, you'll stop for lunch at one of the wonderful eateries in the region.
After lunch, you will return to your room to relax before dinner is served at the lodge in the evening.

On the final day of the tour, you can choose for a dawn safari in the Pridelands (for an extra R750.00 per person). It begins early in the morning, allowing you to observe animals during the most active hours of the day as the sun rises over the trees. The safari includes a break for tea and coffee, allowing you to unwind and appreciate the gorgeous surroundings while sipping on a hot beverage. A wonderful way to conclude your adventure with a lovely and serene morning in the African bush.
After your morning safari, you will enjoy breakfast at the resort before taking a comfortable shuttle back to O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.
Alternatively, spend the morning resting and relaxing at the lodge, followed by a delicious breakfast, before leaving with lifelong memories of an outstanding Kruger Park safari in the African savannah.
