Our fly-in package includes return flights from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport to Hoedspruit Airport, which is conveniently located within a 20-minute drive from the Kapama River Lodge. The private game reserves that comprise the Greater Kruger are unfenced, and the wildlife area shares an unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park. On the 4-day Kapama River Lodge Safari Tour, you can expect to see plenty of animals while relaxing in the calm and quiet of the beautiful bushveld.

Day 1 :

Johannesburg - Kapama Private Game Reserve

Travelers arrange their own transportation to the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport in order to check into their scheduled flight from the airport to Hoedspruit. The flight path to Kruger National Park in the province of Mpumalanga passes over the expansive Highveld, then descends the escarpment and passes through the picturesque Lowveld area.

After landing at the Hoedspruit Airport, take a 20-minute drive to the Kapama River Lodge, where you will meet your safari guide. Arrive in time for a small meal. Before heading out on a late-afternoon wildlife drive in Kapama Private wildlife Reserve, freshen up and unwind.

At Kapama River Lodge, spend the night. Visitors can eat outside on the wooden terrace or in the resort restaurant.

Day 2 :

(Day two-four) Kapama Private Game Reserve and Spa Treatment

Get up early (5:30–6:00) to have hot drinks and rusks before heading off on a three-hour game drive in Kapama Private Game Reserve before dawn. After having a late breakfast at your lodge, unwind in the pool or spoil yourself with a spa treatment for the remainder of the day. After High Tea, depart late in the afternoon for a three-hour wildlife drive in the private reserve, stopping for sundowners in the bush along the way.
An additional feature of our safari package at Kapama River Lodge is a 30-minute back, neck, and shoulder massage at the renowned Kapama Wellness Center. (Depending on availability)
