Overview

During game drives at sunrise and dusk, guests at Imbali Safari Lodge spend four full days exploring the expansive natural area. In addition to hours of rest and pampering at the resort, you will get to take in a breathtaking “sofa safari” from your private observation deck. The five-day Imbali safari trip brings visitors to the Mluwati Concession, which is located in the center of Kruger National Park.

Day 1 :

Johannesburg to Kruger National Park

Every day at 06:45 and 10:45, two shuttle buses leave Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport.

The trip to Imbali Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park takes five to six hours from Johannesburg. With planned stops for leg stretches and restroom breaks, we travel the picturesque route via the town of Hoedspruit and the Panorama Route.

Make an appointment with Imbali Safari Lodge after arriving at the Mluwati Concession in the middle of the day. Before leaving in the late afternoon for a wildlife drive in an open safari vehicle, have a light lunch and refresh yourself. Savor sundowners from a unique viewpoint.

After that, enjoy a three-course meal with regional wines, beers, and soft beverages in Imbali Safari Lodge's outdoor boma (weather permitting).

Day 2 :

(Day two-four) Kruger National Park

Before going on a three-hour wildlife drive with your ranger, start your day early with hot drinks and rusks. You will tour portions of Central Kruger Park and Mluwati Concession. Come back for a substantial breakfast and spend hours lounging on your own deck, which has a plunge pool. Before leaving for the evening wildlife drive, savor a light lunch and delectable high tea.

At Imbali Safari Lodge, you will spend the night in an opulent suite.

After tea and coffee in the morning, head out for a dawn safari tour of the Mluwati concession. Before leaving your cabin at Imbali Safari Lodge, have a light breakfast.

After a mid-morning journey to Hoedspruit, you will return to Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport via shuttle bus.

Depending on traffic, arrive in Johannesburg between 17:30 and 18:00.
