Day 1 :

Johannesburg - Kruger National Park

Every day at seven in the morning, the shuttle bus leaves Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport.

The Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Lodge in Kruger National Park is about a five- or six-hour journey from Johannesburg. We will make several pauses for restroom breaks and stretching as we travel through the picturesque Panorama Route's historic villages to Hoedspruit.

You will reach the Mluwati Concession and the Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Lodge around midday. After a quick lunch and some time to relax, you will be ready to hit the road in an open safari vehicle for a late afternoon wildlife drive. There is a unique viewing point for sundowners.

If the weather permits, dine on a three-course meal in the outside boma of Hoyo Hoyo Safari Camp.

Day 2 :

(Day two-four) Open Vehicle Safari Drives

After an exhilarating Big Five safari trip of Kruger National Park in the late afternoon, you will have the perfect day to rest and rejuvenate yourself at Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Lodge.

Have some coffee and tea before you hop in an open safari vehicle for a morning wildlife drive. Return to Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Lodge for a leisurely lunch and some downtime before setting out on your evening game drive. After that, you will have a three-course meal in the outdoor boma while watching the sun go down from a unique vantage position.

Get up bright and early for some coffee and tea before setting out on a safari tour of the Mluwati Concession around daybreak. Before you leave your chalet, have a small breakfast at Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Lodge.

Travel to Hoedspruit in the middle of the morning to board the shuttle bus that will take you back to Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport.

Depending on traffic, you should arrive in Johannesburg anywhere between 5:30 and 6:00 pm.
