Day 1 :

Arrival at Motswari Game Lodge

After a quick flight from Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport to Hoedspruit Airport, your African safari journey officially begins. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and driven to the Motswari Game Lodge.

The Motswari Game Lodge offers the ideal setting for getting back in touch with nature in Africa. The private patio in your suite offers breathtaking views, and there is an additional outdoor shower so you can freshen up while taking in the sights and sounds of nature.

Depending on when you arrive, you could have time to take in a delicious meal and see the lodge's amenities before going on your first afternoon wildlife drive. Because Motswari Game Lodge is a photographer's dream come true, make sure you have your camera ready so you can take stunning images of the animals up close and during the most spectacular sunset you will ever witness. There will be a beautifully cooked meal waiting for you when you return to the lodge, all beneath the stars.

Day 2 :

(Day two-four) Immersive Safari Experiences and Activities

Before returning to the bush for a morning safari, you will meet in the dining area to have a freshly prepared cup of tea or coffee. Typically, game drives last between three and four hours, with a halt along the way to relax and have some refreshments. After breakfast, when you get back to the resort, you have time to unwind in your suite, go on a walking safari, or just lounge by the pool. It is common for animals to congregate at the waterhole that the lodge overlooks while you are relaxing in the shade or by the pool.

In the hopes of seeing a variety of animals out and about at night, you will head back into the bush for another afternoon game drive later in the day. After that, head back to the resort for yet another delicious meal and take in yet another breathtaking sunset while sipping your favorite beverage.

You will leave behind a breathtaking safari experience and continue your journey after arriving in Johannesburg.
