Overview
This 5-day fully serviced mobile camping safari will take you to two of Botswana’s top wildlife viewing sites. On this spectacular safari journey, you will spend two nights in Moremi Game Reserve, which is located on the eastern edge of the Okavango Delta and contains all of the Delta’s species and birds. Two nights will follow in the wonderful Khwai Concession, which is halfway between Moremi and Chobe and is a popular destination for bird and animal lovers.

Itinerary
Day 1 :
Arrival in Maun – Transfer to Moremi Game Reserve
Your safari guide will meet you when you arrive at Maun Airport. Traveling northeast by road from Maun, you will be transferred to Moremi Game Reserve, Africa's premier wildlife viewing destination. After travelling 99 kilometers from Maun, you will arrive at the Moremi Game Reserve's southern entrance gate.
When you arrive at your own campground, everything will be set up and ready for you, including big dome tents with stretcher beds, mattresses, bed linen, and en-suite bush toilets, as well as a mobile kitchen and dining area. This safari is a non-participation tour in which your safari team will perform all of the required tasks to ensure the safari runs properly. You'll have time to eat lunch and relax before embarking on an afternoon game drive, looking for the many species and birds that this area is known for while taking in the sounds and beauty of the country.

Day 2 :
Explore Moremi Game Reserve
You will travel early on a game drive to Xini and Black Pools. These areas are located in Moremi's southern region. With seasonal and permanent swamp landscapes, these two areas are home to all major animal species, including elephants, hippos, buffalos, wildebeest, impalas, kudu, tsessebe, giraffes, waterbucks, red lechwe, zebras, lions, leopards, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, wild dogs, and more than 500 bird species, including African fish eagle, African skimmer, southern carmine bee-eater, crested crane, sacred ibis, green-winged pytilia, wattled crane, and leser ja.
Your morning game drive will end mid-morning, and breakfast will be served after you return to camp. Following brunch, there are a few hours of free time at camp. What you view in the morning generally influences the direction of your afternoon game drive. Sights worth returning to are revisited.

Day 3 :
Moremi Game Reserve to Khwai Concession
Following a light breakfast, you will go early for a wildlife drive. Drive from Moremi Game Reserve to the Khwai region, a lovely spot with endless shooting chances for nature lovers. The variety of habitats provides unlimited exploration opportunities, ranging from grassy plains and marshes to mopane woods and wide savannah.
When you arrive at your private, dedicated campground, everything will be setup and waiting for you. You will have time for lunch and relaxation before embarking on an afternoon game drive. From elephants and giraffes to wild dogs and big cats, you can get up close with wildlife and a variety of bird species that live in the area, making this a memorable experience for avid bird watchers.

Day 4 :
Khwai Concession Exploration
Early morning and afternoon game drives across the area provide the best opportunity to see this secluded location known for its exceptional wildlife encounters. Today, you may see elephants, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, kudu, lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, and wild dogs.
An afternoon mokoro (dug-out canoe) tour will take you along a tributary of the Khwai River to see the game from a different angle and experience this means of transportation. You'll enjoy the views from this unusual vantage point and see a variety of aquatic animals, including African skimmers, African jacanas, and more. You will also have the opportunity to go on a night drive, focusing on species that thrive in darkness.
The Khwai Development Trust is in charge of managing the Khwai Concession, which belongs to the local community. The trust ensures that the concession earnings benefit the local people of Khwai village.

Day 5 :
Transfer - Khwai Concession to Maun
You'll leave early on a gaming drive. As you go to Maun, this is your last chance to observe the more elusive animals that have yet to be spotted in the last two days. Your safari comes to a conclusion when you arrive in Maun to connect with homebound aircraft or continue with subsequent extensions.
