5-Day Bundox Explorer Camp Experience

You will depart from Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport Bus Terminal at 7:00 a.m. and travel east through farmlands before arriving at Kruger National Park.

It takes five to six hours to drive from Johannesburg to Bundox Explorer Camp in the Balule Private Nature Reserve, then to Hoedspruit, with scheduled pauses for potty breaks and leg stretches.

Arrive to the Balule Private Nature Reserve about midday and check into Bundox Explorer Camp. Enjoy a small supper and relax before going late afternoon for a wildlife drive in an open safari vehicle. Sundowners at an unusual vantage point.

Wonderful days spent resting at the camp in between early morning and late afternoon game drives, with sundowners at a wonderful viewing point.

Safaris are available on the Balule Private Nature Reserve, providing a fantastic opportunity to see the Big Five and other creatures that live there.

Experience a three-hour morning game drive at Balule Private Nature Reserve. Return for a substantial breakfast, then relax around camp, go bird watching in a hide, or join a ranger on a guided bush walk. Depart late in the afternoon for a sunset game drive.

As the sun rises, head out on your final game drive in Balule Private Nature Reserve. Enjoy a late breakfast before checking out. We left late in the morning for our return trip to Johannesburg. Arrive at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg late afternoon (about 5:00 p.m.).
