I5-Day Budget Garden Route & Addo Group Tour Itinerary
Your pick-up on Monday morning will be at your hotel or the airport. You will continue to Hermanus along the scenic coastline, stopping at Betties Bay to witness an African penguin colony. Hermanus is a beautiful beach resort town that attracts hundreds of Southern Right Whales between July and November. You will continue your voyage towards Africa's southernmost point, Cape Agulhas, where you will halt at the "authentic" location where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. Customers who choose to dive in shark cages must get up extra early to reach the diving operator's early morning pickup; they will not have time to visit Hermanus or the African Penguin Colony on Day 1.
Your package includes overnight lodging in Agulhas or Struisbaai, dinner, and a penguin visit.

From Cape Agulhas, drive the magnificent Route 62, South Africa's longest wine route, to Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo, often known as the Ostrich Capital of the World. Before checking into your accommodations on a Little Karoo game farm, you will have a delicious lunch and wine tasting at a local vineyard. While the sun sets, you may take a tour of the ostrich farm and admire the Swartberg and Outeniqua mountain ranges.
Your overnight stay will be at a working game farm in the Oudtshoorn region.
Your bundle includes the following activities: local wine tasting and a visit to a Klein Karoo ostrich farm.

After breakfast, you will traverse the spectacular Outeniqua Mountain Pass and visit Wilderness National Park by canoe. As you float along the Touw River, you will pass through natural woodlands and observe a variety of birds. The boats will be released after forty minutes for a two-kilometer boardwalk trip to a stunning waterfall and rock pools. Later, you will head to Sedgefield to explore the town's magnificent beach.
Your package includes overnight accommodation in Sedgefield, breakfast and dinner, plus canoeing and hiking in Wilderness National Park.

Today's trip will take you through the Garden Trip's Lake District to the famed town of Knysna. To gain a bird's-eye perspective of the Indian Ocean and the Knysna River estuary, visit the Knysna Heads Lookout. Your next visit will be Bloukrans Bridge (216 meters), the world's tallest bungee jump bridge. Those seeking adventure may put their mettle to the test whenever they choose. Tsitsikamma National Park, with its breathtaking shoreline and native woodland, is an ideal destination to spend the middle of the day. Swimming, hiking, and even a suspension bridge across the Storms River are some of the various activities available at the park. You will leave the Garden Route in the afternoon and go to Addo, in Big Five country.
Your overnight stay will be in the Addo region. Your package includes breakfast, dinner, and access to Tsitsikamma National Park. The 216-meter Bloukrans bungee jump is optional and costs roughly R1690.

Accommodation: Avoca River Cabins
In the morning, you will go on a safari through Addo Elephant National Park. This 28,000-hectare national reserve is home to a diverse population of species, including around 600 elephants, a few Cape buffalo, lions, black rhinos, warthogs, zebras, eland, kudu, hartebeests, and many more. This safari can take two to three hours and will end in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. following a thrilling morning of animal viewing. Guests who desire to prolong their 5-day Garden Route vacation can enjoy an additional safari adventure. This additional safari takes place at a private wildlife reserve in the Eastern Cape, approximately an hour from the tour's conclusion.
Your package does not include meals, but it does cover admission and a 2-3-hour tour vehicle trip through Addo Elephant National Park.
