Day 1 :

Johannesburg to Kruger National Park & Afternoon Game Drive

This Kruger budget safari travels daily from Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo Airport. You must be at the O.R. Tambo bus station by 6:30 a.m., since the shuttle leaves no later than 7:00 a.m. We will email you detailed instructions after you have booked your trip.

There will be a quick vehicle changeover at Nelspruit, after which you will drive in a smaller vehicle to the resort, which is about one hour away. The predicted arrival time at our Hazyview lodge is about 11:30 p.m.

After check-in, rest and clean yourself before boarding an open-sided 4x4 vehicle for an exhilarating afternoon game drive in Kruger National Park, commencing at 3:30 pm. The resort is about 15-20 minutes' drive from the Phabeni Kruger Gate.

Day 2 :

Kruger National Park – Open Vehicle Game Drives

This morning, you will have coffee, tea, and rusks before heading out for a full day of game watching in Kruger National Park (Skukuza region). The package includes a packed breakfast. Game drives take place in small groups in specially adapted open-sided Land Cruisers.

The Skukuza region is rich in animals, and the high height of the 4x4 open-sided truck provides superb viewing and photographing possibilities. You will have lunch at one of the park's restaurants (on your own). After lunch, we will begin our afternoon wildlife drive in the Kruger National Park.

During these game drives, you will encounter a diverse range of species and enjoy several picture possibilities. Following our excursion, we will return to our resort or campsite.

Day 3 :

Panorama Route Tour

Today, you will take a trip of the Panorama Route. This 8-hour beautiful journey will begin with a delicious full-course breakfast.

Scenic sites along the Panorama Route include God's Window.
The Pinnacle
Bourke's Luck Potholes.
Blyde River Canyon.
WonderView
Three rondawels.
Graskop and Pilgrims Rest
At least one of the following waterfalls: Lisbon Falls, Mac-Mac Falls, or Lone Creek Falls (depending on the season and rainfall).

Harries Pancakes serves lunch (at your own expense).

You will return to camp at 4:00 p.m.

Day 4 :

Return to Johannesburg (Optional Morning Game Drive)

Today is the last day of your African Kruger budget safari. This morning, you may choose to go on another wildlife drive or rest at the lodge and take advantage of its excellent amenities.

If you decide to stay at the lodge, you may have breakfast in the restaurant. If you join us for the morning safari, we will provide a picnic-style breakfast in one of the park's picnic areas. The optional morning game drive costs about ZAR 1,080.00 per person, payable at the lodge.

The shuttle will pick you up at the resort reception about 11:00 a.m. for your return to Johannesburg. There will be a quick changeover to a bigger shuttle, which will leave at 1:00 pm. You will be dropped off to the Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport approximately 5:30 p.m. Please do not book a flight before 7:30 p.m. to provide ample time for airport formalities.

This marks the conclusion of your Kruger National Park safari.

Accommodation: There is no accommodation at the end of the excursion.
