Overview

On a palm-fringed island with seasonal floodplains that are abundant in game, Moremi Crossing is a tented camp that looks out over Chief’s Island. This is a completely environmentally friendly development that utilizes cutting-edge solar and garbage disposal technology. Your accommodations include en suite and roomy tents on high decks, each with its own veranda. Activities will include both aquatic and land-based activities.

Day 1 :

Arrival at Moremi Game Reserve

Upon arrival at Maun Airport, a Moremi Air staff will greet you. You will then be led to the small aircraft that will take you on a spectacular air transfer into the Okavango Delta. When you arrive at Ntswi Airstrip, a guide from Moremi Crossing will greet you and transport you to the camp. You will spend the first afternoon on a shared safari adventure before returning to the resort for dinner.
Note for solitary travellers: If no one else hires the same light aircraft transfers, a solo supplement must be required.

Day 2 :

Moremi Game Reserve

Game drives and guided bush walks will take you into the forest, or you may relax on a traditional'mokoro' canoe and take in the sights. Motorboating is another excellent option to explore the Boro River's crystal-clear waterways. You may watch the sunset while floating along a lagoon and enjoying sundowners. Adventurers can also seek a rustic island camping experience. Safari drives will only be available when the water levels are low, which is typically between November and April. There will be no safari drives while water levels are high because portions of the concession become inaccessible, which occurs from May to October. Mokoros, boat tours, and fishing are all depending on water level.

Following your final, shared morning safari activity and breakfast, you will be transferred back to Ntswi Airstrip for your light aircraft journey back to Maun Airport. Please let us know if you want to arrange for extra Safari add-ons after this.
