4-Day Kruger Safari Package Bush and Leopards Itinerary
Today, the journey starts! In the morning, you board a flight to Johannesburg. When you arrive at OR Tambo Airport, a driver from our partner Public Shuttle Service will meet you at the bus station. The pickup time is 7:45 AM local time. The shuttle arrives at 01:20 PM at the Olifants West gate terminal, where one of our guides will be ready to transport you to Ku Sungula Safari Lodge. Following a warm welcome, you check in and enjoy a great meal before relaxing. In the afternoon, our guide and tracker will take you on your first game drive, which is really thrilling! Keep your camera and binoculars handy since the game drives are off-road and take you as near to the animals as possible. When you return to the lodge, you will find a fantastic meal waiting for you.
Main destination: Olifants West Nature Reserve (Greater Kruger).
Accommodation: Ku Sungula Safari Lodge.
You understand that you cannot leave Africa without seeing elephants. So that is precisely what we are doing today! Today's itinerary includes not one but two exciting game drives in the Olifants West Nature Reserve. Elephants live here, as one would expect. And much more! As the early morning dawn paints the horizon in gold, we embark from the lodge for the Olifants River Valley inside the reserve. A hidden gem lies along Kruger National Park's western boundary. Prepare to be astounded by the stunning scenery, pristine nature, and various creatures that call this location home. You will look closely at the waterholes, hoping to find leopards and hippos. Breakfast at the resort would be very pleasant after the morning safari. We will return in the evening for a game drive. Be extremely quiet and observe the animals' interactions, from the mournful screams of hyenas to the thundering roars of lions.
Main destination: Olifants West Nature Reserve (Greater Kruger).
Accommodation: Ku Sungula Safari Lodge.
Today's schedule includes the spectacular Panorama Route. This route's name is well suited to its stunning natural treasures, waterfalls, and amazing views. We visit as many vistas and breathtaking views along the Panorama Route as possible. There is a lot to see, so we have lunch on the way. When the day is done, you return to the lodge and enjoy a delicious evening meal made with care by our chefs. The Panorama Route passes through one of Mpumalanga's greatest wooded regions and is centered on the Blyde River Canyon, the world's third-largest canyon. The path starts at the foot of Long Tom Pass, then descends to the Lowveld Plains before ending near the Limpopo provincial border. Along the way, you will see many waterfalls and a few unusual natural phenomena, like the Bourke's Luck Potholes rock formations, the grass-covered mountains of The Three Rondavels, and the God's Window lockout point.
Main Destination: Panorama Route (Highlight).
Accommodation: Ku Sungula Safari Lodge.
Early rise! Start the day with a bush walk, then embark on one final foot safari with a knowledgeable and armed guide. During the bush walk, the guide will impart their expertise as your nose fills with the aroma of crushed wild grass as you go through the bushes. You will learn about tracking, animal behavior, and the bush's environment. Smell and taste wild plants, learn local rituals, and discover the bush's lesser-known beauties. After the morning safari, a substantial breakfast will be waiting for you at the resort. Then it is time to say farewell. The shuttle bus to Johannesburg Airport leaves at 10:45 AM and arrives in Johannesburg between 17:00 and 18:00 PM. From there, the connecting flight home leaves, and you will arrive the next day with luggage full of wonderful memories.
Main destination: Johannesburg Airport.
Accommodation: There is no accommodation at the end of the excursion.
