4-Day Kruger Safari in Klaserie Reserve, South Africa

You will fly from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg for a one-hour flight to Eastgate Airport in Kruger National Park. You will be greeted and transported by road to the Ivory Wilderness River Rock Lodge located inside the 60,000-hectare Klaserie Private Game Reserve. This vast, unfenced wilderness, which extends into Kruger National Park and beyond, is teeming with species, including the Big Five and the Big Seven, which include African wild dogs and cheetahs. Numerous remarkable species of wildlife inhabit one of the biggest protected regions globally. Upon arrival, you will start your first private wildlife drive with a fully licensed and seasoned ranger. Embark on a 2 to 3-hour safari bush expedition to follow the Big Five with several other animals and more than 350 avian species. Following sundowners in a beautiful and isolated area of the bush, we'll head back to camp for dinner under the stars in Africa.

River Rock Lodge is a classic pioneer camp, strategically located in the center of the natural reserve. Situated under a mature treeline along the Klaserie River, the area draws extensive herds of elephants, abundant wildlife, and several avian species. This unspoiled environment has remained undisturbed throughout time, enabling you to reconnect with the enigmas of nature. With the help of your expert ranger and tracker, you will go on twice-daily game drives in the early morning and late afternoon. Then, between late morning and early afternoon, you will relax by the pool while enjoying delectable dinners and fine Cape wines.

River Rock Lodge is a classic pioneers' camp that is nestled right in the middle of a nature reserve. The area, which is below a mature treeline and on the Klaserie River, is home to huge groups of elephants, as well as a lot of other wild animals and birds. You can get back in touch with the secrets of nature in this untouched forest that has been left alone for a long time. Your professional guide and tracker will take you on two game drives a day, in the early morning and late afternoon. In the late morning and early afternoon, you can rest by the pool. During that time, you will be able to enjoy some tasty meals and fine Cape wines.

After your last early morning game drive at dawn, you will have a full breakfast at camp before saying goodbye. Once you are back on the road, go back to Eastgate Airport and then to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg for your last flight back home or into Africa.
