Overview

During the 4-day en-suite tented camp (with air conditioning) Kruger safari, you will have several opportunities to photograph the Big 5 species in Kruger National Park. You will also witness hippo, giraffe, kudu, wildebeest (including the famed gnu), and zebra. Animals you could encounter include the leopard mountain tortoise and the wild dog (or Cape hunting dog), one of Africa’s most endangered species, as well as other lesser-known African fauna.

Day 1 :

OR Tambo Airport to Kruger National Park

The Skukuza Airport pick-up is available at any time and is free of charge; however, it must be prearranged.

The optional shuttle (from and back to Johannesburg) leaves from O.R. Tambo Airport at 06:45 or 11:00 and takes you to Kruger National Park. We can arrange for lodging pick-up in Johannesburg for the shuttle (at an extra fee of ZAR 875 per transfer).

We propose arriving at Nelspruit Airport (MQP) at 13:15 (inclusive). For an extra fee, passengers who have booked flights at different times may get private transports.

After settling into your accommodations, you go on your first game drive (at an extra cost of ZAR 500 per person sharing and ZAR 1,000 per single), which is an afternoon drive across Kruger Park.

Your overnight lodging is located at Sabi Sands' Shaws Gate, 5 kilometers from Kruger National Park.

Day 2 :

Day (two-three) Full day in Kruger National Park in open-sided vehicles

Before venturing out into the wilderness, have a cup of coffee or tea and biscuits. Brunch is a cooked meal served after the complimentary morning game drive.

After breakfast, have another fantastic game drive in Kruger National Park (an extra ZAR 500 per person sharing and ZAR 1,000 single).

Enjoy a fantastic South African supper with pudding (available for several diets).

Pre-book an optional Panorama Route excursion for ZAR 4,500 per group (to replace the day's events). You will see God's Window, Bourke's Luck, Three Rondavels, Blyde River Canyon, and a waterfall (time permitting). The lunch break is at your own cost.

Your overnight accommodation is located at the Shaws Gate of Sabi Sands, 5 kilometers from Kruger National Park.

Day 3 :

Day (two-three) Full day in Kruger National Park in open-sided vehicles

Day 4 :

Kruger National Park to OR Tambo

Enjoy muffins and coffee or tea before the morning game drive. This is your final opportunity to see the Big Five.

There is an optional transport return to Johannesburg or MQP Airport after brunch (all included). You will be back in Johannesburg between 17:00 and 18:00.

When traveling from Nelspruit Airport (MQP/KMIA), your flight should depart about 14:30. The Skukuza Airport drop-off is available at any time (inclusive, but kindly pre-arrange).

Accommodation: There is no accommodation at the end of the excursion.
