Our Kruger and private game reserve package includes luxurious accommodations at Khaya Ndlovu Manor House in Hoedspruit, located in the foothills of the Drakensberg Mountain Range. It includes a sunset and dawn safari in the Reitspruit Big Game Reserve, as well as two full-day open vehicle safaris in the Kruger with expert nature guides to round off this one-of-a-kind safari experience.

Day 1 :

OR Tambo to Khaya Ndlovu (Hoedspruit) Transfer & Sunset Safari in a Private Game Reserve

The shuttle departs from OR Tambo International Airport for Khaya Ndlovu Manor House in the Rietspruit Big Game Reserve, only a stone's throw from the wildlife town of Hoedspruit. It is located near Kruger National Park, with the Drakensburg Mountains serving as a stunning background.

Khaya Ndlovu has excellent accommodations, including a swimming pool, bar and lounge, day spa, and a dining area beneath the trees, creating a magnificent and exotic setting.

After check-in and lunch, go on a sunset safari with the assistance of professional guides. Safaris take place in the Rietspruit Big Game Reserve. The reserve offers expansive views of the Drakensburg Mountains, where you may expect to see lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and a variety of other animals such as giraffes, zebras, and antelope species.

Following your safari, you will return for supper, a delectable assortment of African-inspired food cooked by the local chef and served beneath the stars on the dining deck.

Day 2 :

(Day two-three) Full-Day Open Vehicle Safari in Kruger National Park

Shinzelle Safaris will pick you up in the morning for a Kruger Park safari. After a brief 45-minute drive to Orpen Gate, your Kruger Park safari starts with an open safari vehicle that provides a complete panoramic view of the African bush from a higher vantage point than an average vehicle.

In pursuit of all the iconic animal species, including the Big Five, with a trained nature guide who uses specialized knowledge to describe the natural world in great detail. Your guide will visit numerous waterholes and river systems, as well as other Kruger hotspots, to optimize your chances of seeing as much as possible, ensuring the panorama on show is ever-changing and breathtaking.

The resort will provide breakfast for us to eat at a picnic location before we continue on safari for the remainder of the day, pausing for lunch in between. You will return to Khaya Ndlovu in the afternoon, where you will have some free time before supper on the dining deck.

As the sun rises over the African savanna, you will have tea and coffee before embarking on a dawn safari through the Rietspruit Big Game Reserve. The reserve is home to Africa's flagship species and provides one final chance to experience the sights and sounds of the African savanna.

After your morning safari, you will enjoy breakfast on the dining terrace by the pool before your journey to OR Tambo Johannesburg.
