Day 1 :
Johannesburg to Makuwa Safari Lodge
We are excited to welcome you to Makuwa Safari Lodge and make your travel as smooth as possible. Your transfer shuttle will pick you up from OR Tambo International Airport at 7:45 a.m. and drive you to Hoedspruit, where you will arrive about 1:45 p.m., with our pleasant crew waiting to meet you and take you to our resort.
Upon arrival, you will be able to check into your accommodation. After you have settled yourself, take a plunge in our lovely pool or relax with a sundowner by the campfire before dinner. Our central common room is built for a basic but beautiful dining experience, complete with a casual bar area and a patio with a dining table, creating the ideal environment for a rustic farm-to-table dinner.

Day 2 :
Kruger National Park
Join us on an exciting full-day Big Five guided game-viewing expedition in Kruger National Park, a must-see event. Departing around dawn in an open 4x4 vehicle is the best time to capture predators when they are most active.
We will provide you with a packed breakfast to eat en route or during a park stop. For an extra fee, the lodge may prepare a picnic meal for you to enjoy in the park. There will be several break intervals throughout the day, and you will be able to buy unique souvenirs inside the park.
After exploring Kruger National Park, we will return in the late afternoon, allowing you time to relax before we serve a great dinner at the lodge.

Day 3 :
Kruger National Park
Take an exciting half-day Big Five guided game-viewing expedition in an open 4x4 vehicle through the world-renowned Kruger National Park. Departing around dawn gives you the greatest opportunity of seeing predators in their natural environment.
Makuwa Safari Lodge will give you a tasty packed breakfast to enjoy on the way or throughout your stay in the park. Throughout the journey, there will be several break pauses to stretch your legs and take photographs of the breathtaking animals and scenery.
Following your thrilling game drive, return to the lodge in time for lunch (not included), where you may decompress and relax by the pool or on your patio, immersed in the enchanting sounds of Africa.
In the evening, have a superb meal at the lodge and discuss the day's thrilling sightings with other visitors.

Day 4 :
Makuwa Safari Lodge to Johannesburg
Awaken to the lovely sounds of the bushveld and enjoy your last breakfast in the peaceful environment of Makuwa Safari Lodge.
Our crew will be available to help you with your return journey to Hoedspruit, which will leave from the resort between 9:00am and 9:30am. When you arrive in Hoedspruit, your Johannesburg shuttle will be waiting for you, guaranteeing a safe and pleasant return trip to OR Tambo International Airport.
