4-Day Greater Kruger Safari at Simbavati River Lodge

Upon arrival at Hoedspruit Airport, you will be greeted and driven to Simbavati River Lodge, where you will overnight in a luxurious tented suite. When you arrive at the lodge, check in, settle in, and have high tea before embarking on your first afternoon game drive in search of wildlife, including the Big 5.

Main destination: Timbavati Private Nature Reserve (Greater Kruger).

The morning game drive begins at dawn. You will get up before dawn for tea and coffee before the game drive begins. Then you have three hours to discover as many animals as possible before they all seek refuge behind trees in the heat of the day.

When the wildlife drive returns to the lodge, you will be served a delectable cooked breakfast and given time to unwind. You may relax by the pool, read a book, take a nap, and enjoy being in the jungle.

After high tea, the afternoon game drive will begin between 3:30 and 4:00 PM. It will take around +-3 hours, with a halt someplace for sundowners. You will return to the lodge in the dark, using a flashlight to search for nocturnal wildlife.

After your last morning game drive in search of the few remaining creatures that have evaded you, have a warm breakfast before departing the lodge for your road trip to Hoedspruit Airport, where your safari will conclude. We can gladly assist with any add-ons, such as the Garden Route, Cape Town, Victoria Falls, and others.

Main Destination: No big destinations visited.
Accommodation: There is no accommodation at the end of the excursion.
