Day 1 :

Johannesburg to the Sekekama Tented Camp – Afternoon Sunset Drive

Guests make their own journey to OR Tambo Airport for departure.
Depart OR Tambo International Airport at 7:00 for an amazing safari excursion. Travel through the stunning landscapes of the Highveld and Lowveld in Mpumalanga, arriving at Sekekama Tented Camp at 14h00.

Take a break before embarking on an afternoon twilight wildlife drive in an open safari vehicle in the Greater Kruger Blue Canyon Reserve. Keep a watch out for the famous Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo), as well as other amazing animals such as giraffes, zebras, and hippos. Finish the day with sundowners in the bush, then return to the camp for supper and storytelling around the boma fire.

Day 2 :

Open Vehicle Safari Drive in the Kruger National Park

Your second day has two options: an early departure for Kruger National Park with a bush breakfast on route and an earlier return, or a leisurely breakfast at the lodge before leaving and returning later.

Departure timings will be provided the night before, allowing for flexibility depending on current animal behavior to ensure best game viewing.

Spend 7 to 8 hours on a safari in Kruger, visiting the Orpen-Satara region for a better possibility of seeing lions. Return to camp, where you may relax before a starlit meal by the fireplace.

Day 3 :

Kruger Park or Panorama Route Tour

You will get up early to go on a full-day safari across Kruger National Park with The Kruger Safari Co. You will see active predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas while watching the stunning dawn over the park.

Alternatively, you may take a full-day Panorama Route excursion along this exciting and renowned route. You will see spectacular sights like Berlin Falls, God's Window, The Pinnacle, Three Rondawels, and Blyde River Canyon.

Your Panorama Route or Kruger Safari Co. adventure will last 7 to 8 hours, giving you plenty of time to unwind by the campfire before dinner. Every night, dinner beneath the stars (with a complementary glass of wine) awaits you, offering an ideal backdrop for sharing your experiences and meeting new people.

Day 4 :

Optional Sunrise Safari Drive

Spend the last morning at the resort or go for a 3-hour dawn drive (at an extra fee of R1,250 per person sharing) through the Blue Canyon in Greater Kruger.

After breakfast, wave goodbye and begin your return trip to Johannesburg.
