This is an exciting tour, and we’ll set off bright and early at 05:00 hrs. to maximize your viewing time at the Mara. These are the ancient lands of the Maasai people, where you can immerse yourself in their lifestyle and culture.

Day 1 :

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

5:00 AM – Your driver/guide will meet you at your Nairobi hotel, residence, or Nairobi airport, ready to embark on an exciting journey. Jump into the vehicle and set off on your exciting journey to the Masai Mara, Kenya’s most renowned wildlife park.

Experience the breathtaking moment as the sun rises over the fields while nestled in your safari vehicle. We will pause in the town of Narok to take a breather and pick up some snacks.

As we journey towards the Mara, you will encounter local homesteads and possibly spot Maasai herdsmen in their vibrant wraps, caring for their cattle. We’re set to reach the park around 10:30 hrs. Enjoy a delightful early lunch at the hotel before embarking on an exhilarating game drive that lasts until the sun dips below the horizon.

Day 2 :

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

After a delightful breakfast at your lodge or camp, your attentive driver guide will help you with the checkout process before heading to Nairobi – the vibrant capital city of Kenya. If guests decide to explore the Masai cultural village, our guide will take them there, allowing them to immerse themselves in the cultural experience at their own expense ($20pp).

As you journey along, your guide will highlight the Longonot extinct volcano, a majestic strato volcano nestled southeast of Lake Naivasha in the breathtaking Great Rift Valley of Kenya. It is believed to have last erupted in the 1860s, and its name comes from the Maasai word Oloonong’ot, which translates to “mountains of many spurs” or “steep ridges.” You have the option to take a scenic drive through Naivasha for lunch and excursions at an additional cost, or head directly to Nairobi and stop by Kiambethu farm for a delightful tea farm tour that includes a three-course buffet lunch (also at an extra cost). Alternatively, you can drive straight back to the capital and later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your journey home.
