Day 1 :

Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary and Mantenga Cultural Village

After being picked up at your Mbabane accommodation, you will proceed to Mantenga Cultural Village. Here, you may see the stunning Mantenga Waterfall and experience a Swazi village's traditional way of life. You may witness one of the best renditions of African song and dance in all of Africa at Mantenga. The youthful Swazi warriors and maidens are proficient in their customs. You will go to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary after visiting Mantenga. The thatched, beehive-shaped Swazi huts where you will stay are completely furnished with private bathrooms attached, yet they have the charming charm of a traditional Swazi home. Meals are served on the deck with the dam view. You will witness hippos and crocodiles beside nearby birds. After supper, you'll gather around the campfire with the local warthogs, who like the fire's warmth on their round bellies! Mlilwane offers optional activities including mountain biking and horseback riding.

The World's Oldest Mountains, Greenstone Belt

You'll get to experience a variety of activities this morning, such horseback riding and mountain biking. These are not included activities; they are optional. The reserve is devoid of any predatory fauna.
Following breakfast, you will tour the Ngwenya hand-blown glass industry before making your way down into the valley of the largest and most vital dam in Swaziland, the Magugu Dam. Our path continues via the Greenstone Belt Mountains, commonly referred to as the Makhonjwa Mountains, which are the oldest mountain range in the world at nearly 3.6 billion years old. Explore the haze of a time seemingly forever ago with the Barberton Makhonjwa Geotrail—more than 3 billion years ago. The Barberton Makhonjwa Geotrail was created to cross this breathtaking mountain pass. Together with rock specimens, geological features, and vistas, the twelve landscaped lay-bys with interpretive panels convey the story of how the early earth evolved around 3.6 billion years ago.
