Overview

You can interact with the residents and see their way of life by going to a rural community. You will get the opportunity to spend your two days in a local village as we welcome you to the village of Kaphunga and demonstrate the way of life of the emaswati. You can still access the rest of the community in its entirety, though. You can choose to stay for two nights if you’d want to have additional experiences, as you’ll spend the entire day in the village instead of just part of it. You can visit the school if you come during the week.

Day 1 :

Manzini Pick up or We can pick you up from Hotel of your Choice

The guide will pick you up at your hotel or in Manzini, depending on where you park your car. You will go to the neighborhood market and be given an overview of a few other distinctive booths.
We take a 1:30-minute trip to the village after market.
We provide traditional meals, such as BBQ and mealie pap with any green veggies.
Visits with Family
We get to talk with the family and observe how they live in a remote area when we do a family visit.
Outside strolls
This is the ideal time to go over to witness the sunset and relax on the large rocks after our stroll around the village. From there, we will begin our journey back to our house.
We provide classic lodging in a cottage shaped like a beehive. We have a standard door-sized hut available for elder guests. Please be aware that when the kerosene lights are turned out, the traditional huts—which lack windows—become completely dark. We provide floor mattresses and sheets so that nobody feels cold at night.

Day 2 :

Swazi village Homestay

We usually have thin porridge for breakfast, which we occasionally top with milk or the traditional fermented version. We also top it with toasted bread and a few fruits. coffee and tea. If you are fortunate enough to work alongside a farming family, this might be a great opportunity to share their household tasks. As such, we often try to keep our activities as natural as possible.
Spend some time with the local children by going to the village school. This is a terrific opportunity for you to introduce yourself and for them to practice speaking English. Additionally, you'll get to assist them with their schoolwork, which kids usually like. The best approach to see the village and learn about what's going on while you're there is to take a leisurely stroll, which might last anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours at most.
