Overview

Aquila Safari Lodge is a 4-star malaria-free hotel in the Karoo. The ideal African safari retreat is less than a two-hour drive from the city. The reserve is home to the Big Five legends: elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros. There is also a pool bar with beverages and snacks. Aquila has everything for everyone, from day trips to overnight stays and horseback safaris to quad bikes, a spa, a kids’ amusement section, and much more.

Day 1 :

Aquila Private Game Reserve - Southern Karoo

You will arrive at the lodge about midday and be met with a welcome drink at Aquila Private Game Reserve.

You will check into your accommodation about 2:00 p.m. You will go on a late afternoon 2- to 3-hour game drive in an open-air 4x4 vehicle. Lunch and supper are provided.

To minimize disappointment, optional supplementary activities must be arranged in advance.
*Spa services or admission to the spa to enjoy the outstanding facilities (heated pools, steam room, sauna, mani-pedi, and numerous massages and treatments)
* Safari activities include quad biking and horseback riding.
*Ask about a fly-in safari.

Shared transportation from Cape Town to the lodge and back is not included in the price, but if necessary, please indicate and we will cheerfully quote at an additional expense.
NB: We can organize private game drives and transfers; just inquire, and we would gladly advise on any additional fees.

Day 2 :

Aquila Private Game Reserve - Southern Karoo

You'll go on a 2- to 3-hour game drive in the early morning before returning for brunch. At 10:00, you will check out of your accommodation.

Please keep in mind that overnight guests' planned shuttles leave Cape Town between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m., and the return service departs Aquila Private Game Reserve at 12:30 p.m.

Shared transportation from Cape Town to the lodge and back are not included, but if necessary, please let us know and we would gladly quote at an additional expense.
