Overview
Our 10 days Uganda safari, offers a thrilling adventure to explore the diver’s landscape and discover the hidden in the ‘’Pearl of Africa’’. While on this safari tour, you have an opportunity to visit several national parks in Uganda including; Murchison falls national park where you will enjoy game viewing drives, River Nile boat cruise as well as the top of the falls Hike where you will view the most powerful waterfalls. Proceed to Kibale Forest for Chimpanzee trekking and a Bigodi nature walk then connect to Queen Elizabeth National Park for more game sightings and a boat ride on the amazing Kaziga channel then connecting to Bwindi via Ishasha sector for the remaining days of the trip.
Tour Highlights
- Day 1: Pick up from the Airport and transfer to hotel in Entebbe or Kampala.
- Day 2: Pick up from hotel and drive to Murchison falls national park for the start of the safari. Enroute Rhino tracking at Zziwa and visit to the top of the falls.
- Day 3: Morning game drive Game drive and Afternoon boat ride.
- Day 4: Transfer to Kibale national park.
- Day 5: Chimpanzees Trekking and Bigodi swamp Walk.
- Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and afternoon game drive

Day to Day Detailed Itinerary
Upon arrival at the Entebbe international airport, you will be met and welcomed by our company driver guide who will pick you up and drive you to the hotel where you will spend the rest of the evening relaxing from the long flight. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Wake up early and have your breakfast and the driver guide will pick you up from the hotel, he will brief you about the up coming safari as you start the drive Northwards of Kampala to Murchison falls national park driving through the famous luwero triangle to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking which last for a bout 2 hours and thereafter, proceed and drive to Masindi town where you will have your lunch. After you will proceed and drive to Murchison falls arriving in the afternoon, enter the park with the visit to the top of the falls and a brief game drive enroute to the lodge. Check in to the lodge on arrival for dinner and overnight stay.

Wake up early and drive to the park by the break of dawn for early morning game drive to catch up with the early risers and the predators setting out to hunt for pry before retiring in their hideouts. While on the game drive, you will see several mammal species grazing in savannah grass including the elephants, buffalos, giraffes, Uganda Kob, if luck you may also see the lions, leopards among other small and large mammals. You will also encounter some bird species. The game drive lasts for hours, after return to the lodge for the late breakfast and lunch.
In the afternoon, you will proceed with 2:00pm boat cruise in the river Nile for more rewarding game viewing. The boat sails through number of hippos, buffalos and crocodiles, and other animals on the water banks. This is also the spot to see the shoe bill stork among other aquatic bird species. Return to the lodge for evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

After an early morning breakfast, set-off for a three-hour game drive by 6:30am to see more of the wildlife in Murchison falls national park. By 9:30am, exit the park and driver guide will transfer you to Kibale forest National Park arriving in fort portal town where you will have lunch en route and continue to Kibale forest national park arriving in the late afternoon. Proceed and check in and relax at the lodge. Later dinner and overnight stay.

Have morning breakfast and thereafter, proceed to the park headquarters to attend a pre trekking briefing about the rules and regulations for chimpanzee trekking. After you will be led in to the forest by ranger guides well versed with the trails to begin the search. Kibale forest is a primate capital with 13 primates including the chimps who are the prime attraction. The trek may last for about 3-4 hours before you encounter the chimps. Once you have found them, you will spend one hour with them as you observe them do about their daily activities. After return to the park headquarters and then to the lodge. In the afternoon, you may opt for Bigodi nature walk to Bigodi wetland swamp where you will encounter several bird species and primates including the monkeys, baboons and the chimps who are also frequent visitors. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

After your morning breakfast, the driver guide will pick you up for a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive time takes you about 2-3 hours arriving in the park in time for lunch. Proceed to the lodge and have lunch and brief rest. Later you will go on evening game drive in the park for game viewing. Evenings offers rewarding game viewing, during this time, the animals are most active. After you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Have morning breakfast and thereafter, set out to the park for early morning game drive to catch up with the early risers and predators setting out to hunt before they retire in their hideouts. While on the game drive, you will see encounter several mammal species crazing on the savannah, including; Elephants, buffalos, giraffes, Uganda Kob, antelopes, lions, water backs among others. You will also encounter some Savannah bird species. After, you will return to the lodge for relaxation. After lunch, you will go on a boat cruise on Kazinga channel boosting with the biggest population of hippos (school of hippos), crocodiles, bird species and several animals drinking water along the shores. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Have your breakfast and thereafter, your driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park home to the famous mountain gorillas driving via the Ishaha area famous for tree climbing lions as well as boosting with largest number of animal species. Proceed with the drive to Bwindi with enroute lunch arriving in the park in the afternoon. On arrival you check in to the lodge where you will spend the rest of the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Wake early and have your breakfast after, the driver will take you to the park headquarters where you will attend briefing on the does and don’ts for gorilla trekking as well as get registered before the trek. After, you will be divided in groups of 8 members each accompanied by an expert ranger who will lead you to the starting point of the trek. The normal trek may last for about 2 to 6 hours or even more before you see the gorillas depending on their movement. These are wild animals therefore, they roam freely. You will encounter other primate species like the different species of monkeys, baboons forest birds and forest animals among others. Once you have seen the gorilla family, you will be allowed one hour to observe them but keeping a distance so as to avoid un expected occurrences. After you will return to the park headquarters where you will be awarded with the certificate of participation in gorilla trekking. Then to the lodge. In the evening, you will set of and drive to Lake Bunyonyi where you have a quiet and peaceful night after along days gorilla trek. Upon arrival, proceed to the lodge where you will have your dinner and overnight stay.

Wake up for morning breakfast and after, go on canoe boat cruise in lake Bunyonyi. You will explore the Islands each with its own history. Canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi provides not only a peaceful and immersive natural experience but also a glimpse into the local culture and lifestyle. The lake's serene environment makes it an ideal spot for relaxation, bird watching, and photography, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience for anyone who visits. You will return to the lodge and check out by 10:30 am and start your return journey back to Kampala. Lunch will be enroute in Mbarara town and another enroute stop over at the equator line crossing for photo shoot and relaxation. Continue to Kampala arriving in late in the evening. The driver guide will then drop you off at Entebbe airport for your flight or hotel. Marking the end of your safari in Uganda.
