1-Day Mokoro Trip

1 Day

Overview

Indigenous people in the area use mokoro, an antiquated mode of transportation, to cross the delta. From the low view point of a dugout boat, known by the locals as a mokoro, you’ll see a local tradition that has defined how safaris are conducted in the Okavango Delta. You will have a unique opportunity to experience this inaccessible wilderness because mokoro polers will share their local history and extensive knowledge of the area’s flora and fauna with you.
