Your adventure will kick off at 6:30 am as you embark on a day trip to the Aberdare National Park, situated 100km East of Nairobi. Spanning 767 sq km, this region encompasses the majestic heights of the Aberdare Mountain in Kenya, rising from an altitude of 1829 m to 4001 m above sea level.
The landscape is remarkably varied, featuring profound ravines that carve their way through the lush forested slopes on both the eastern and western sides. In the park, you can spot fascinating creatures like the black rhino, leopard, baboon, black and white Colobus monkey, and Sykes monkey with ease.
Among the more uncommon encounters are the golden cat and the bongo, a shy forest antelope that resides in the bamboo forest. In the elevated moorlands, one can encounter fascinating creatures such as the eland and the striking spotted and melanistic serval cats.
Prepare to traverse a variety of captivating attractions, including thrilling game drives, breathtaking waterfall explorations at Chania Falls, Magura Falls, and Karura Falls, the intriguing Queen's Cave, and stunning mountain vistas.
