    Day to Day Detailed Itinerary

    After an early breakfast, the driver guide will pick you up from the hotel and you will embark on a scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park, a journey of approximately 5-6 hours. The drive takes you through lush countryside, with rolling hills and picturesque tea plantations. En route, you can stop at the town of Fort Portal, which offers stunning views of the Rwenzori Mountains, also known as the "Mountains of the Moon." Where you will also have your lunch as you proceed to the park.
    Upon arrival at Kibale Forest National Park, you will check into your lodge, for relaxation and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay.

    Today is dedicated to one of the highlights of the safari: chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. The briefing covers the rules and expectations for the tracking experience, emphasizing the importance of respecting the primates and their habitat.

    Accompanied by an experienced guide, you will venture into the dense rainforest in search of chimpanzees. Kibale Forest is home to one of the largest populations of chimpanzees in Africa, and the chances of encountering these intelligent and social primates are high. As you trek through the forest, you will also have the opportunity to see other primates, such as the black-and-white colobus monkey, red-tailed monkey, and L'Hoest's monkey.
    Once you locate a chimpanzee group, you will spend an hour observing their behavior. Watching them swing through the trees, groom each other, and communicate with vocalizations is a truly captivating experience. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you will set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park situated about 3 hours drive from Kibale forest National Park. This diverse park, named after Queen Elizabeth II, is renowned for its stunning landscapes, including savannas, wetlands, and volcanic craters. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

    Start your day with morning breakfast followed by a game drive in the Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This area is known for its high concentration of lions, often seen hunting for Uganda Kobs, which are abundant in this region. Other wildlife you may encounter includes elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, and various antelope species. The early morning hours are the best time for spotting predators, as they are most active during this time. After you will return to the lodge for lunch.
    In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The boat cruise offers an unparalleled opportunity to observe a wide range of wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species like the African fish eagle and the pied kingfisher. The banks of the channel are often teeming with elephants, buffaloes, and other animals coming to drink, making it a prime location for wildlife photography.
    After the boat safari, enjoy a sundowner with breathtaking views of the park before returning to your lodge for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

    Wake up to morning breakfast and after, drive to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth famous for its tree climbing lions as well as the huge population of mammal species. After the game drive, you will journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the critically endangered mountain gorillas. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours. with enroute lunch. Arriving in Bwindi, you will check into your lodge, The anticipation builds as you prepare for the unforgettable experience of gorilla tracking.

    The climax of your safari is undoubtedly the gorilla tracking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers. The rangers will provide information on the gorilla families, the tracking process, and the guidelines to ensure both your safety and the gorillas' well-being.
    Accompanied by armed rangers and experienced guides, you will embark on a trek through the dense forest. The duration of the trek can vary from a couple of hours to a full day, depending on the location of the gorilla family assigned to your group. The terrain is often steep and challenging, but the reward is well worth the effort.
    Encountering a mountain gorilla family in their natural habitat is a profoundly moving experience. You will spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants as they go about their daily activities—feeding, playing, and interacting with each other. The close genetic connection between humans and gorillas is evident in their expressive eyes and complex social behaviors.
    After the trek, return to your lodge for relaxation and in the evening, Transfer to lake Bunyonyi know as the place with “little birds). Lake Bunyonyi is peaceful and conducive environment for relaxation after along day Gorilla trek. On arrival, you check in to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

    Have morning breakfast and after, you go for canoe boat in lake Bunyonyi one of the exciting ways to explore lake Bunyonyi. You visit the Islands in lake Bunyonyi. There over 29 Islands each with its own interesting history that the guide will tell you stories about them. You will also spot little birds, the local community among other attractions. After the boat, you will return to the lodge and check out and start your return journey back to Kampala. Enroute you will have lunch in Mbarara town. Embark on the journey with another stop over in equator for photoshoot and stretching. Continue to Kampala arriving late afternoon. The driver will drop you off at the airport in time for the departure flight back home.
