    Day to Day Detailed Itinerary

The safari will begin with the pick up from a hotel in Tanzania/Kilimanjaro International Airport after the morning breakfast by 7:30 am. The guide will brief you about the safari trip a head and then embark on the journey to Tarangeri which will last for about 2 hours drive southwest to Tarangire National Park.
You will be arriving in the park mid-morning, check in to the lodge and have early lunch. After, we set out for afternoon game drive. The setting sun bathes the landscape in hues of orange and red, enhancing the park’s natural beauty. This is the time when predators stir from their daytime slumber. We are fortunate to witness a pride of lions lounging under a tree, their majestic forms blending seamlessly with the golden grass. Continuing our journey, we spot a group of zebras grazing peacefully, their striking black and white stripes creating a visual harmony against the lush greenery. Not far behind, a tower of giraffe’s nibbles at the treetops, their long necks and languid movements embodying the elegance of the African wilderness. Each turn of the path reveals a new spectacle: warthogs scurrying through the underbrush, impalas leaping gracefully, and the occasional flash of a cheetah in pursuit of its prey.
Evening nature walk, after the game drive, you will proceed to the park headquarters for briefing about precautions and the guidelines to follow while on nature walk. A walking safari is a more intimate way to experience the park’s flora and fauna. Guided by a seasoned ranger, we tread softly along well-worn paths, our senses heightened by the immediacy of our surroundings. Every rustle in the grass, every distant call becomes a clue to the hidden life of the park.
Our guide shares insights into the smaller creatures and plants that often go unnoticed on game drives. We learn about the intricate web of life that sustains this ecosystem, from the industrious termites that build towering mounds to the delicate balance maintained by the park’s diverse bird species. The ranger’s knowledge enriches our appreciation of Tarangire’s biodiversity, making this walk a highlight of our visit.
The day concludes with a spectacular sunset, the sky ablaze with colors, as we make our way back to the lodge for dinner. Under a canopy of stars, we recount the day’s adventures, our hearts full of wonder and excitement for what lies ahead.

Dawn breaks on our second day in Tarangire with a serene stillness, the early morning mist adding a mystical quality to the landscape. Today, we embark on another game drive, this time focusing on the park’s water bodies. Tarangire River, a lifeline during the dry season, attracts a myriad of animals. As we approach the riverbanks, we see elephants bathing, their interactions playful and endearing. Hippos wallow in the shallows, their massive bodies almost entirely submerged, while crocodiles sunbathe on the banks, ever watchful.
Birdlife is abundant here, with vibrant colors flitting through the trees and across the water. We spot kingfishers, bee-eaters, and the striking African fish eagle, each contributing to the vibrant mosaic of life. Our patience is rewarded when we catch sight of a leopard stealthily approaching the river, a rare and thrilling encounter that underscores the unpredictability and excitement of safari life. After the game drive, you will exit the park and drive to the lodge for lunch and thereafter, check out and drive back to Arusha where the driver guide will drop you off either at the hotel or the Airport for your departure flight back home.
