    Embarking on a 12 days safari in Uganda, Uganda as a country offers renowned for its stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and vibrant culture, promises an unforgettable adventure.     Day to Day Detailed Itinerary

    The safari begins with arrival at Entebbe International Airport. After a warm welcome by the guide, guests are transferred to a comfortable hotel in Kampala/Entebbe. The day is spent relaxing and recovering from the journey, with optional visits to the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre for those eager to start exploring.

    After breakfast, the adventure kicks off with a drive to Murchison Falls National Park, the largest national park in Uganda. En route, a stop is made at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walk to see rhinos in their natural habitat. Exit the park and drive to Masindi town where you will have your lunch. Proceed to the park. On arrival, you will proceed to the park with the visit to the top of the falls and thereafter, proceed to the lodge where you will check in for dinner and overnight stay.

    The day starts with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, offering sightings of lions, elephants, giraffes, and various antelopes, early mornings offer great sightings when the animals are most active and predators hunting for prey. After lunch, a boat cruise on the Nile River provides close encounters with hippos, crocodiles, and a plethora of bird species.     The journey continues with a drive to Kibale Forest National Park, after your morning breakfast at the lodge. Kibale forest national park is famous for its primate population. The scenic drive passes through traditional Ugandan villages and lush countryside. Upon arrival, you will proceed and check in to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

    An exciting day awaits with a morning chimpanzee tracking expedition. You will rise up early and have you breakfast. After, you head out to the park headquarters where you will join others for briefing about the does and the don’ts for chimpanzee trekking. After, you will be Led by experienced guides, for the start of the trek through the forest to observe these fascinating primates in their natural environment. The afternoon offers a visit to the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, known for its rich biodiversity, including numerous bird species and other primates. Dinner and over night stay at the lodge.

    After breakfast, a drive takes guests to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The route traverses the scenic crater lakes region, with opportunities for stunning photographs. Upon arrival, you will proceed to the lodge for lunch and brief rest. In the afternoon, you will go a game drive in the park’s northern sector offers sightings of elephants, buffaloes, and other wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

    An early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains provides excellent chances to see predators like lions and leopards. After lunch, a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel reveals one of the largest concentrations of hippos in Africa, along with numerous bird species and other wildlife. You will return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

    After morning breakfast, the journey continues to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to over half of the world’s mountain gorillas. En route, a stop is made at the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions. The drive offers a mix of game viewing and scenic landscapes, Exit the park and drive to Bwindi with enroute lunch in fort portal town. Em bark on the journey arriving at Bwindi in the late afternoon. Proceed and check in to the lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay.

    A highlight of the safari is the gorilla trekking experience. With the guidance of experienced rangers, guests embark on a trek through the dense forest to encounter a family of mountain gorillas. The experience of observing these magnificent creatures up close is both humbling and exhilarating. You will spend one hour with the gorillas, after, you return to the park headquarters then to the lodge then check out and continue to lake Bunyonyi known as the "place of many little birds." The scenic drive through the Kigezi Highlands offers breathtaking views. with peaceful and quiet environment for your relaxation after along day gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest.

    Wake up and have morning breakfast and go on canoe boat in lake Bunyonyi. Enjoy the serenity of the lake with cool breezes soothing your skin and observe bird species on the lake and pay extra attention to guide’s moving stories. You will get to the hotel and check out by 11.00 and transfer to Lake Mburo national park. Enroute stopover at Mbarara town for lunch, then continue to Lake Mburo and on arrival, you will check in to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

    Wake up early, have your breakfast and set out to the park by 6:30am, for early game drive best time to catch up with the early risers grazing on the savannah grassland. Animals sighted in the park include; Zebras, Giraffes, Waterbucks, Impala, Kobs, bush bucks, buffaloes, Eland, warthogs, and so much more.
    After that you will head back to the hotel for lunch, you can then take on an afternoon boat cruise as you visualize the rest of the park it could take you about two hours as you see the rest of the animals including; hippos’ crocodiles water birds and more. Back to lodging for dinner and overnight.

    Wake up and eat breakfast as you get ready to set off for Kampala of which the journey will take you about 6hrs. A stop at the equator will be necessary so as to have the chance of standing in two hemispheres in the same period. You can then take pictures if choose to have memory of the experience and have lunch at this very stop. Continue to Entebbe where you will be dropped off at your hotel or to the airport.
