1-Day Special Package Ngorongoro Crater Tour

The 160-kilometer travel from Arusha to Lodoare Gate is now accessible via a newly completed tarmac road, which takes around two hours. To enter the Ngorongoro Crater, a 4x4 safari vehicle is required if taking the dirt road off the main road.

The departure from Arusha is set for 6:00 a.m., with the first stop at the Loduare gate for registration. From there, you'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable tour of this massive natural amphitheater spanning 2590 square kilometers (100 square miles). This unusual habitat supports a diverse range of species, including rhinos, elephants, lions, and enormous herds of zebras and wildebeest. You will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater bottom.
