4-Day Best of Both – Kruger Park & Luxury Lodge Combo

Your tour begins with a transfer from Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport to Kruger Park. Your private nature guide will greet you cheerfully and accompany you on each private safari, which will take place in an open safari vehicle, and explain the African bush for you. Your spectacular safari trip starts as you approach Kruger Park, with views of majestic creatures such as the Big 5, as well as a diverse variety of general game such as giraffes, zebras, and different antelope. As the day comes to a close, arrive at the Kruger Park restcamp to check in and relax in your accommodations. Each day on safari starts with the African bush waking up. Exit the gates with your guide as the sun rises over the African Savannah. Our professional and educated guides are prepared to get you up close and personal with nature, giving you the greatest chance to observe the Big Five. After an exhilarating morning safari, you will return to camp for a mid-morning break, which will include a hearty lunch at the camp restaurant. In the afternoon, you will have time to rest and unwind at the camp before departing on a private sunset safari with your own guide. This safari lasts 3 to 4 hours and allows you to see a variety of species, including hippos, giraffes, and, of course, any member of the Big Five. As the day comes to a close, you will have a great meal at the camp restaurant before retiring to your accommodation for the night to relax and recharge for another day of safari adventures.

On your last day in Kruger, we will wake with the bush, pack up, and go on your final private safari to see any animals you may have missed. Arrive at Orpen Gate and go to Hoedspruit, a tiny village where you will have breakfast at one of the local eateries. We will next travel 30 minutes to Tomo Safari Resort, an exclusive and beautiful resort in Balule Private Game Reserve. Check into your accommodation and acquaint yourself with the lodge's facilities, which include a bar, restaurant, and pool. After a sumptuous lunch, go on your first safari to a private wildlife reserve. Where your guide takes you off-road for the Big Five. Stop for a "sundowner," a cool drink enjoyed in the African bush at Twilight—a memorable experience. As dusk falls, your guide will use spotlights to find nocturnal species. With the sounds of the African night around you. Following an exciting evening/night safari, you will return to the resort for a sumptuous meal.

The last day of your stay will start with a 3- to 4-hour morning safari with your ranger. During this last trip, you will have the opportunity to thoroughly immerse yourself in the natural surroundings while reflecting on your incredible experience. To make the most of your morning safari, your ranger will drive you to a lovely area in the bush where you may relax with tea and coffee while admiring the spectacular views. After your morning safari, you will return to the resort for a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, your shuttle will come to pick you up for your trip back to Johannesburg, bringing your incredible adventure to a close. You will have experienced the best of both worlds, including the Kruger National Park and a private game reserve at a luxury safari lodge.
