Overview

This 4-day Tremisana/Tent Kruger Park safari includes a 4-hour sunset drive on Balule Big 5 Reserve, a bush BBQ at Marula Tree Boma, a 4-hour Big 5 bush walk with armed rangers, a 2-hour afternoon game drive on Balule, a full day in Kruger on open game viewer, a morning walk at Marc’s Camp with an armed ranger, and scenic highlights of Blyde River Canyon, including a stop at the Three Rondawels.

Day 1 :

Transfer, Sunset Drive and Boma Braai

Johannesburg Hotel/Hostel or O.R. Tambo Airport pickup and drive to Tremisana Game Lodge, where you have time to have a swim or quick rest in your air-conditioned chalet. Board the open Landcruiser for an exciting Sunset Drive. After dark, use spotlights to locate nocturnal animals. Dinner will be an unforgettable BUSH BBQ deep in the African bush. After dinner, continue with the Night Drive and overnight in an en suite air-conditioned chalet.

Day 2 :

Bush Walk, Afternoon Game Drive and Marc's Camp

Early morning departure for the Olifants River, where your armed ranger will lead you on an exhilarating four-hour hike into the wilderness. Enjoy the extended chance to explore and savor the Bushveld's mysteries on foot. You will get a terrific chance to follow Africa's large animals and get near enough to snap beautiful photos. Return to Tremisana for breakfast. After lunch at 13:30, board the open Landcruiser at 15:00 for a 2-hour game drive. Marc's Camp will provide dinner and provide overnight accommodations.

Accommodation: Marc's Treehouse Lodge (tent).

Day 3 :

Full Day Kruger Park

You take the open-sided Game Viewer to Kruger National Park's Orpen Gate. The increased elevation and lack of windows provide great viewing and photographing possibilities. Your knowledgeable guide will show you the numerous species, great and tiny, that inhabit this exceptional wildlife sanctuary. The Kruger zone you visit contains the largest proportion of giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and impala, all of which attract lions and other predators. Marc's Camp will provide dinner and provide overnight accommodations.

Day 4 :

Sunrise Bush Walk and Three Rondawels

Early morning game walk with an armed guard to discover the different creatures that live at Marc's Treehouse Lodge. After breakfast, we will visit the Blyde River Canyon's Three Rondawels. We will return you to your Johannesburg hotel/hostel or O.R. Tambo Airport approximately 17h00.

Main destination: Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve (Panoramic Route).
Accommodation: There is no accommodation at the end of the excursion.
