Overview

We have designed a four-day Kruger Lodge game safari for the discerning guest. During these four days, you will see some of South Africa’s best wildlife areas at a reasonable cost! You will be staying in a nice lodge with all of the conveniences of a luxury hotel. Some tour highlights include door-to-door pickup, a sunset game drive, an atmospheric bush braai in an open-air boma, excellent accommodation, delicious food, a full-day game drive in Kruger National Park, a morning bush walk, and the Blyde River Canyon.

Day 1 :

Transfer from Johannesburg to Kruger and evening game drive

We pick up our guests from all hotels, guesthouses, and private residences throughout Gauteng, as well as the Johannesburg Airport. We drive from the Highveld farmlands to the beautiful subtropical Lowveld. We stop for lunch in the colorful town of Dullstroom before driving to the wildlife lodge in the Balule part of Kruger Park.

After a brief break in which you may chill at the bar, swim, or rest in the tropical gardens, we board the open Land Cruiser for a three-hour sunset drive. Your guide will show you different creatures and birds, and after dark, he will use spotlights to find nocturnal species. Dinner will be a typical bush braai (barbecue) at the Marula Tree Boma, deep inside the African bush. You spend the night in a comfortable, air-conditioned en suite thatch-roofed hut.

Day 2 :

Bush walk with rangers and afternoon game drive

Awaken at dawn for an amazing day of animal viewing. We travel to a secluded location where you may go for a four-hour hike in the wilderness. Your trained and armed field guides will walk you through the woods at a leisurely pace, looking for wild creatures and other intriguing characteristics and mysteries of the bush. The excitement and thrill of following Africa's wild animals will undoubtedly get your adrenaline going.

We return to the lodge for breakfast. After that, you may relax and have some leisure. You may also enjoy game watching from our hide, which overlooks a dam. Later, we go to Tshukudu Big 5 Reserve and have high tea. Afterward, we proceed on the game drive, during which the rangers maintain radio contact and share information about the movements and locations of the game and wild animals. We return to the lodge, where you will have supper and spend quality time with family and friends.

Day 3 :

Full Day Game Drive in Kruger Main

We visit the Orpen region of Kruger National Park for a full day of thrilling game watching. The lack of windows and lofty view point provide for an ideal picture opportunity. You will have an incredible opportunity not only to see game but also to listen to nature noises and absorb the aroma of the African bush and its inhabitants.

We make a halt at a picnic area or rest camp. After the morning game drive, you may stop for lunch at one of Kruger National Park's rest camps. Following lunch, we continue with the afternoon wildlife drive in Kruger Park. Your knowledgeable ranger will show you the different creatures and birds that inhabit this nature sanctuary. The Orpen-Satara-Nwanedzi areas include vast open plains that are home to big herds of zebra, giraffe, and antelope, as well as various predators. In fact, the zones we visit have the largest lion population in Africa!

After our wildlife drive, we return to the resort for a delicious supper and some relaxation.

Day 4 :

Return to Johannesburg via Blyde River Canyon

This is the last day of your African Kruger Safari. Enjoy an early-morning sunrise drive in the open Land Cruiser. After a delicious breakfast, you will have time to browse for keepsakes and snap one final shot of Tremisana's lovely gardens. We next go to the spectacular Three Rondawels and the magnificent Blyde River Canyon. This is the world's third-biggest canyon.

After seeing the Blyde River Canyon, we travel to Dullstroom for lunch (on our own expense). Following lunch, we travel to Johannesburg, Gauteng, in the late afternoon. We will drop you off as agreed.
