Overview

A 4-hour sunset drive on the Balule Big 5 Reserve, a bush barbecue at Marula Tree Boma, a 4-hour Big Five bush walk with an armed ranger, an afternoon game drive, a full day in Kruger on an open game viewer, a morning walk at Marc’s Camp with an armed ranger, and scenic highlights of Blyde River Canyon, including a stop at the Three Rondawels, are all included in the 4-day Tremisana/Masango Kruger Park safari.

Day 1 :

Transfer, Sunset Drive and Boma Braai

We will pick you up from your hotel in Johannesburg or O.R. Tambo Airport and take you to Tremisana Game Lodge, where you may swim or relax in your air-conditioned hut. Later, you will get into an open Land Cruiser for an exhilarating sunset drive. After dark, use spotlights to find nocturnal creatures. Dinner will be a memorable BBQ deep in the African wilderness.

After supper, you will continue the night journey and spend the night in an en-suite air-conditioned cabin.

Main destination: Balule Private Nature Reserve (Greater Kruger).

Day 2 :

Bush Walk and Afternoon Game Drive

You will leave early for the Olifants River, where your armed ranger will lead you on an exhilarating 4-hour hike into the wilderness. Enjoy the extended chance to explore and savor the Bushveld's mysteries on foot. You will have the chance to follow Africa's large animals and approach them close enough to snap nice photos. Return to Tremisana for breakfast.

After lunch at 13:30, board the open Land Cruiser at 15:00 for a 2-hour wildlife drive. You will next go to Masango, where you will stay in en suite chalets. Masango will be our dinner and overnight destination.

Day 3 :

Kruger National Park

Drive to Kruger National Park's Orpen Gate in a custom-built open-sided game viewer. You will be able to see wildlife without the need for glass windows, as well as hear and smell the residents of the bush. We make frequent stops at picnic areas, rest breaks, and points of interest. The vast plains of the Orpen-Satara-Nwanedzi areas attract enormous herds of zebra, giraffe, and antelope, which in turn attract a variety of predators. In fact, this region has the greatest lion population in Africa. Masango will be our dinner and overnight destination.

Day 4 :

Morning Bush Walk and Blyde River Canyon

Take an early morning game walk with an armed guard to see the many creatures that live at Marc's Camp. After breakfast, we will visit the Blyde River Canyon's Three Rondawels. We will return you to your Johannesburg hotel or airport approximately 17:00.

Main destination: Three Rondavels (Panoramic Route).
Accommodation: There is no accommodation at the end of the excursion.
