Overview

For thrill-seekers, the 4-day Kruger safari offers exceptional value for money and a fantastic chance to see the Big 5. During these four days, you will get the opportunity to see some of South Africa’s best wildlife as you journey east, passing through gorgeous landscapes and farmlands on your way to your Kruger lodge. This safari leaves every day at 6:30 a.m. from the O.R. Tambo International Airport bus terminal in Johannesburg.

Day 1 :

Johannesburg - Kruger National Park

Arriving at Hazyview about 1 p.m., you check in and have time to rest and refresh yourself before boarding an open-sided Land Cruiser for a thrilling 2 to 2.5-hour afternoon game drive in Kruger National Park. The resort is about 15 to 20 minutes from the main Kruger Gate.

After your safari game drive, you will return to the resort to decompress, drink, and rest.

Day 2 :

Kruger National Park

This morning, you will have coffee or tea and rusks before leaving for a full day of game watching in the Kruger National Park (Skukuza region). The package includes a packed breakfast. Game drives take place in specially adapted open-sided Land Cruisers that accommodate nine people. The whole day allows you to view all of the Big 5 in their natural habitat.

Day 3 :

Kruger National Park

You still have another day to tour the national park. We will see many of its residents again today, but this time we will concentrate on less glamorous animals like beautiful antelopes and raucous baboons, as well as colorful reptiles and over 500 bird species. Do not forget to bring your binoculars since the park is known to provide an almost amazing animal experience.

Day 4 :

Kruger National Park - Johannesburg

You will have coffee or tea and rusks before heading for a (optional) morning game drive in Kruger National Park. The package includes a packed breakfast.

• Early morning wildlife drive, return to lodge for transfer to Perry's Bridge for shuttle return to Johannesburg, followed by a drop-off at O.R. Tambo International Airport bus terminal.

Main Destination: Kruger National Park.
Accommodation: There is no accommodation at the end of the excursion.
