Overview

This excursion is great if you only have a limited amount of time on safari and want to see a variety of animals while staying in a nice and reasonably priced camp. You will spend two nights in Timbavati, which is known for its superb game viewing and birdlife. Walkers Plains is one of the area’s newest lodges, being opened in mid-2023. It is located on an open plain savannah with vast views of the Drakensberg mountains. This will be an incredible wildlife encounter.

Day 1 :

Johannesburg

When you arrive at OR Tambo, proceed through customs and pick up your bags. When you depart the airport, a driver will meet you and take you to your hotel. Check in and spend some free time. The house is around 10 kilometers from the airport and has a nice-sized lawn, a swimming pool, and a spacious terrace for a relaxing stay. The hotel provides dinner as part of its package.

Main destination: Johannesburg (city).
Accommodation: The African Rock Hotel.

Day 2 :

(Day two-three) Timbavati Game Viewing

After breakfast, check out and go to the airport in time for your flight to Hoedspruit. You are greeted at the airport for a driving trip to the resort. Arrive in time for lunch and rest before the first game drive.

Your stay at Walkers Plains Camp includes two nights' lodging, meals, chosen drinks, and two daily game drives. Timbavati Private Nature Reserve is part of the Greater Kruger National Park open system, as well as the globally recognized Kruger 2 Canyons UNESCO Man and Biosphere System.
You will have a fantastic game viewing experience, and if you are fortunate, you will see buffalos, lions, giraffes, wildebeest, impalas, baboons, cheetahs, leopards, and the uncommon white lion.

Departure

Last morning in the jungle, check out of camp after breakfast. Road transport to Hoedspruit airport in time for your return flight to Johannesburg. Connect to your next flight or contact us to prolong your trip.
