Overview

The Black Rhino rooms are big and ideal for families or a peaceful romantic break. The waterhole in front of the resort is bustling with activity and is a favorite playground for elephants, buffalo, and a variety of other animals. Safaris take place on the private Black Rhino Concession, which has access to the larger Pilanesberg National Park. The magnificent dining room leads onto several patios and decks, providing a variety of beautiful locations in which to relax and enjoy the generous hospitality.

Day 1 :

Check in at Black Rhino Game Lodge

You will drive yourself to Pilanesberg Game Reserve from Johannesburg. Check in at 2 p.m. and have high tea before departing for your evening wildlife drive, which includes a sundowner break as the sun sets over the horizon. Return to the lodge to refresh yourself before enjoying supper in the dining room or around an open-air boma.
Return to your suite for the evening.

Day 2 :

(Day two-three): Itinerary

Before embarking on your morning game drive, you will get a wake-up call with coffee and tea. As the sun rises, you will stop for coffee in the reserve. Return to the lodge for breakfast.
Relaxation time: 2pm-4pm. High tea is given before you go for your evening wildlife drive, which includes a sundowner break as the sun sets. Return to the lodge to refresh yourself before enjoying supper in the dining room or around an open-air boma. Return to your suite for the evening.
