Overview

Do not pass up this one-of-a-kind chance to enjoy the peaceful wildness of the Olifants River from the safety of a one-of-a-kind safari camp. You will never forget the views of the river from your room or the animals and birds you see on the boat tour. There is also a bush BBQ and an afternoon tour in an open safari car. There will be another night in Kruger National Park during the second part of the tour. This is where we will stay after a full day of safari with an experienced Khalanga Safaris nature guide.

Day 1 :

Day 1: Transfer and Kruger Park Safari

The first part of our tour starts at 7:45 with a shared van ride from OR Tambo Airport. Our route will take you through 3 provinces and to the Northern Drakensberg Escarpment. From there, it will be a short drive to Hoedspruit, which is the game capital of central Kruger National Park. Your guide will meet you and take you on your first adventure in the afternoon. You will go to the first rest camp and spend the night in a real wooden Kruger Park bungalow. The person leading you will make dinner.

Day 2 :

Full Day Safari

A professional and skilled Adventure in the wild Safaris wildlife guide will take you on a full-day trek. Our guide knows a lot about the African bush, and you will see a lot of animals before breakfast, which is made by your guide on the way at a picnic area or rest camp. We will spend the whole day looking for animals in Kruger National Park. In the evening, we will go back to the rest camp. Your guide will make dinner again, and you can get lunch at one of the rest camp's restaurants, which is where we will be stopping around lunchtime.

Day 3 :

Morning game drive and riverboat safari with sundowner experience

We will spend our last day in Kruger National Park. We will leave the park early in the afternoon so that we can be on time for our barge tour on the Olifants River near Phalaborwa in a Big 5 Game Reserve. Enjoy your sundowner drinks while looking at the animals from the unique point of view of a boat. The Olifants River starts in Mpumalanga Province and runs east through the Lowveld. It then crosses into Mozambique, joins the Limpopo River, and ends near Maputo in the Indian Ocean. You are going to spend the night at a private lodge by the water. Before your adventure boat trip up the river, where you can see many animals, you can start having drinks as the sun goes down. You can see a lot of birds, including rare ones like the white-backed night heron. You can also see animals along the river, including the Big Five.

Day 4 :

Return to OR Tambo

On your last day, you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge and a swim in the pool by the river before we take you to where the bus leaves. You will be back at OR Tambo Airport by 6 pm after your tour.
